Pockets of humans survived in slightly warmer climates like southern France, Africa etc and todays people are their decsendants. The cromagnons were apparently 7 ft high on average and broader than avg humans. So are the basque people broader and taller than most other cultures close to them.

@oswaldordp Truly, and this is basic common sense, but everyone in Europe, parts of Asia, and Africa are descendents of Cro-Magnon. Cro-magnon is the Pre-modern version of every human today.
Another note, Direct descendants is hard to prove since there's no way in knowing for sure Cro-Magnon had RH negative blood type. The scientific method doesn't work the way you said. You need hard solid facts, assumptions are not accepted. That's if you really want to make it a theory.

People in Africa and in Asia have little or none RH-negative blood except for the Berbers who live closer to Europe. The RH negative distribution decreases as we go east into Europe and Asia. Scientifically, there is no way in proving because Cro-Magnons are gone, therefore no way to test their blood type. There are hundreds of theories about the origins RH- but not one stands solid(especially the Annunaki Alien crap).. Just saying, Assumptions are not facts, until proven otherwise with legitimacy.

In Africa is where we find the least amount of Rh-Negative blood in the world. That is enough CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence to point that the basque have a different ancestry given their high rates of RH-negative blood.
