@nyznicca Lot of things kill people...electricity can kill people if not used wisely, so can auto accidents. Does not mean you have to ban electricity or autos. Some sense has to prevail. But it seems when religion is used all sense goes out of the window...this is sad.
Your lack of knowledge in this matter baffles me. People started using "chemical" as DOR which would decapitate people riding on motorcycle and scooters. I am sure it would have been awesome if you took your kids out for a ride and while talking to your son who was sitting behind you with NO HEAD! this has happened over and over again. I love BASANT, flying a kite is my favorite thing in the world when I go back home...but irresponsibilty leads to disasters!
@nyznicca There should be rules against misuse, and those guilty should be punished. But to ban a whole festival because of a few irresponsible people does not make sense. The plus points of the festival far outweigh the negatives.
Even 1 innocent death is one too many so keep your plus points to yourself. You wanna fly kites for fun but those who die their deaths are very real too.

@nyznicca dear bro,i am deeply sad for the people whose throat were cut due to sharp thread.but the solution was proposed dat every motor cycles sud put arials, by doing that the death due to throat cut can be prevented. But we pakistani thinks that we are above law but no one followed. the way police has cracked down against kite flying if they wud ve done it in the same way against people who break law, we must ve been enjoying this festival by now
