  • Goede video! Erg duidelijke uitleg, dankjewel! In welke discipline geeft u les?

  • This kick was used by Feitosa and other brazilians kickboxers in K-1, for this the japanese staff called "brazilian kick". It's not Muay Thai kick.

    5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks,

i didn't know it was a muay thai kick i simply copied it from glaube feitosa :)

  • @AskHandsomeThomas Just some constructive criticism i think you should point your foot a little more when you do the kick. :P

  • @AskHandsomeThomas its a brazilian kick, from karate.

I been doing mt/kickbox for ages, they dont teach it there.

  • @AskHandsomeThomas what you showing it is not what feitosa doing..you need not knee up just leg up like front kick then shift to round.

  • It's not a muay thai kick. It's a Kyokushin Kick made popular by Brazilian kyokushin guys. That's why it's called the Brazilian kick. Not sure why they would call it a Brazilian kick from Muay Thai.

  • @animal100000 Nah I do muay thai its definately not ahhaa. He needs to work on his flexability

  • @animal100000

it is called brazillian kick , not used in muay thai .

  • @animal100000 nope it isnt..

  • hey bill, your much better at bo than mountainous. you should make a tutorial for him

    peace out

  • Sweet!!!!

  • what part of the foot makes contact, bro?

looks like the top flat of the foot? or are you punching with "fisted toes"?

    just curious.

my favourite kicks (SF wise) would be the pushkick and inside cut kick woot ;)

no flashy brazilian stuff for me in the fights, bro.

when are you coming to canada? i'd like to feel one of these connect

  • in a real kickboxing match i try to hit with the lower part of my shin. so that if he moves back i can reach out a little

and if he moves in i will hit with the hardest part of my shin

lets just say i'll hit with any part :P

but when sparring i alway hit with the top of my foot

since its more friendly and easier to control power and impact

anyway when i got enough money i will come to canada thats a promise!

i would love to spar against you

how have you been doing lately bro?

  • thanks for the details on the kick.

always best to aim for the low part of the shin.

if an opponent moves back (stupid to do anyway) they'll still get caught, they move in and the shin does it's work.

i generally don't use a lot of high kicks though.

anyways things are busy these days man you know how it goes.

family and all keeping me busy :)

    work and that as well.

how've you been? send me a PM or something when you get a chance.

    :D

    keep up the training!

  • Blazing!

  • thanks Duane!

  • Guess who's gonna use this kick in his karate tournament in 4 days? Not me lol,but its a nice kick.

  • :P thank you, how do feel are you well prepared ?

    will you be recording it?

anyway i wish you best of luck and hope you win!

don't forget participating is more important than winning

the prize is just a memorial for you

    experience is the true prize!

  • I think my tehnique is good but I lack power in my attacks.I have designed a plan on how to sparr and I will use some basic combinations, after all I have bin training since february...and there is no way I can win because there is this super good 8th kyu kid in my category :).I hope some of my teammates recors my first oficcial kumite for me,it would be awesome. :)
