@stempel2000 Nope sorry, but it isn't. It might be from the Toho Frankenstein movie that Baragon was in, or it's an outtake from "Destroy" but it's definitely NOT from the finished movie.
@John6yt Ofc, the scene is in "Destroy all Monsters" and it might also be a new one, its just so short because the baragon-suit was already in a pretty bad condition, because it was already used in 3 episoded if ultraman, and ofc. in the frankenstein movie.
Strange, in Google Translator, the words "Frankenstein" and "und" translated into Godzilla. I still don't get why the Germans replaced the names. I just don't get it.
"Unfortunately we now have GODZILLA FINAL WARS, which happens to outshine every Godzilla movie. Including this one."
That IS sarcasm, I hope MattBL :-)
GFW was the worst of the Big G films ever. Destroy All Monsters is the Holy Grail of Japanese monster films, and that's the word.
A lot of work went into this one, including 11 puppeteers who were onset AT THE SAME TIME for the final scene, and NOT ONE WIRE got crossed or tangled. Now that's professional work!
@TheJsdrewes Actually I have to admit to liking G vs. Megalon. What I DIDN'T like was the absolutely annoying voice thaey gave the little boy in the American version.
The "wall of fire" scene in Megalon, where G and Jet Jaguar were surrounded in fire was done nicely.
Also, just after he turned 100' tall, the part where Jet Jaguar waltzes up to Megalon and gives him that ridge hand strike was great. I remember a huge cheer from the crowd on that one.
At 0:40 the man himself, Toho legend Yoshio Tsuchiya. He played in a GREAT Toho film in 1960 called "The Human Vapor" where he played a man able to transform into a cloud of mist at will, who became a career criminal.
He also played Rikichi in The Seven Samurai and also alongside Toshiro Mifune in another classic called "The Bad Sleep Well" about corporate corruption and revenge.
He also developed his own alien language for the film "Monster Zero" but it was dropped fom the final cut.
I know Germany tried changing all of the titles of these movies to make them seem like Dr. Frankenstein created all of these monsters but in full out honesty...that is a load of shit! LOL!
Its amazing. They change the title to Frankenstein, yet this is the only trailer I've ever seen that gets all the monsters names right. Anyone ever figure out why Ebirah and Kamakiras weren't n this picture. I never understood that. Ive seen DAM storyboards that show the mutant walrus Maguma in the action. Might have been dropped for continuity purposes, since the moon is destroyed in Gorath.
If you look at the beating the Ebirah suit takes in his debut, it's not hard to imagine why it wasn't used; same reason they replaced Baragon with Gorosaurus.
As for Kamakiras, yeah that is weird, especially considering Kumonga was in. Maybe *all* the Kamakiras suits were damaged beyond repair? =/
One of the Kamakiras puppets was used in new shots in All Monster's Attack/Godzilla's revenge. So it was in good shape.
Photographs show the Baragon suit next to the rest of the monsters and it looks okay. There is some dispute as to whether the restored the original Baragon suit, which had been turned into other monsters for Ultraman or built a new one. Either way, It probably wasnt ready on time for the scheduled shooting day of the Paris Scene.
godzilla is not frankenstein, the germans have maked that all monsters are created by frankenstein, even when frankenstein dont appear in any of these movies.
Apparently, the German distributors thought it would be a good idea to work Frankenstein into the Godzilla films. Why? So more people would watch the movie.
My Dad's from Germany and he says that they edited it so that all the monsters have been sent or created by Dr. Frankenstein, trying to make it more original for Germany

I agree. Being a fan since I was 5 and seeing them all, GFW ranks among the worst or the series along with GVMegalon.

"RAUMSCHIFF SY-3" ACH TUNG!!!!
Frankenstein Battles King Kong!!
They changed them all to Frankenstein or King Kong in the title. The weirdest part is that the Gamera films all had Godzilla in the title.

everyone says they used the gorosaurus suit, but the actual baragon suit is seen later in the film, so that couldnt be the reason
