how is it you're using an SMW-style Fire Flower? btw when I say SMW-style i mean Mario's fireballs are turning the Spiny CheepCheeps and Bloopers into coins, like in SMW
I didn't make this level. It was one of the ones that was not released outside of Japan. Right now, a lot of SMA4 is documented. We need a programmer. Some people may be able to do something, but so far, not much. :(
Feel free to encourage some of the guys that are thinking about this. Right now, that's mainly Kiiro, 14159, and upaluppa among others. Maybe post some support in acmlm too. :-/
It's cool to see people from all over the earth interested in this stuff. :-)
A programmer knows a language like C+, Pascal, Visual Basic, etc. And that person also knows about hex editing. Also, that person will probably really like SMA4 too to spend time one this. If you know someone like this, send him my way. Otherwise, feel free to express interest in what the acmlm people are doing. :-)
an e-card does that, another one places veggies in the normal levels, and other (unreleased) ones slowed down the timer, shotened the p-meter and other things....
i prefer the title " Super mario brothers: The lost levels 2" . I talk about that potential idea for Wiiware/Dsiware on my channel please check it out.

@movinitlikedat45 The game also has special "E switches" which alter the game in unique ways. The SMW Fire Flower effect is one of 'em.

Music is the SMAS version of the underwater theme but it's sped up to match the tempo of SMB1's...well, almost.

I thought it was a bit strange while I was emulating. But your right. The original had a fast tempo.
