Actually you can not get an original german k98 for $350. The cheapest german one I've seen was a bnz for $600, the ones for $350 are ww2 period but they are yugo versions, not german.
@wafflePWNAGE22 The only way a K98 would cost $600 is if A: its bore was in near excellent condition and all of the series numbers on the parts were matching and the stock was near mint. B: if they could confirm that the K98 was associated with the Waffen SS and had ss runes and markings. Other than those reasons, anyone selling a K98 for $600 dollars is obviously over pricing. You can buy an original K98 Russian captured rifle in the 300-400 dollar range.
@wafflePWNAGE22 When things are mass produced and in large numbers as the K98 was, it makes them cheaper and common. Not only that, but you are only thinking of retail. You are also forgetting that there are hundreds of collectors that are willing to trade, negotiate and give friendly prices with other collectors. Therefore, the price of a K98 is really up to the person selling it, it is never the same.
My shells don't fly out after repeat (reload after one shot). The bolt takes the shell out of the tube and release it, but the shell doesn't fly away but stays in the chamber.
@TheBelva85 Yes, it is fairly weak, I would suppose from being airsoft quality. Of course if it was replaced with a strong spring it would really eject them strong
Im an avid Wehrmacht efficienato myself and I just bough one of these Marushins. I was only wondering if my K98 bayonete will fit on it. Also, I like you gas mask can in the background there. Looks like an early war one.
Thanks for your comment! You can actually find originals from many gun shows and auctions that are in the $300-400 range. You just have to keep a lookout.
lol at 2:20 " now lets see if we can get some ejecting action" lmaoo

I know, I just like to get the best quality I can. Luckily I have the budget to get higher quality as well, so that is another reason.
