The issue is that main stream media reported this as a Russian attack on Georgia and did not give any facts about the muddled situations so they are misinformed. Just look at US coverage of the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Israel creates atrocities in an illegal occupation against international law and when retaliated against the US claims Israel is acting in self defense.
