This just in...Sporadic protests both supporting and protesting against yesterday's election results have sprung up around the capital this evening. This comes after hundreds of people were arrested at illegal rallies on election day. Prime Time's Jacob Greaves is at an opposition protest at Chistye Prudy.

@BlackDogSociety ... Good luck... In Arizona everyone has the right to carry concealed weapons...violence and government thugism is down by 1,000%. The OWS Phoenix were surrounded by armed citizens between them and the police...there were Zero incidents... I rest my case!

@dwoods828 --- That's great but all it would take is one incident where an overzealous demonstrator accidentally kills or injures a child or some other innocent bystander. That could give them cause to further erode our rights. In many places it's already illegal to carry weapons to a political gathering. Let's not give them more reasons to limit our right to keep and bear arms...

@dwoods828 --- Wow, now there is an example of what not to do. Pull you weapon out and order the police to stop in order to make a citizens arrest? That's a good way to commit suicide. There are atrocities like you describe that do happen and it's tragic when the perpetrators get away with it, but an armed intervention is not going to make things better, it will make things worse. At least in this case civil activism forced charges to be filed against the officers.

It's good to know you're not upset, old sport, and I hope you soon get over your nausea. Sometimes when one finds out he is ignorant of the real facts, it does cause a sour stomach; the truth does that to some folks, but a diligent search for reality will usually help one's fact digestion.
