  • Our jazz band is playing this song for an event and I was wondering how to do the sax scoop thing towards the beginning.

    Watch my vids

  • Lead trumpet is so sick! His double A is so loud and crisp.

  • are you guys kidding me?

  • 3:43, so true

  • I like @ 6:35 when he laughs. Can you feel the love between Goodwin and Marienthal

  • Damn you Wayne and your epic shaking on a high A!!!! LOVE IT GORDO!!!

  • andy martin will always be a god as long as his recordings survive

  • Andy Martin....wow

  • The sax sole was amazing, that's my favourite part.

  • Absolutely. It's just ridiculous. Although, I like the other version better.

  • Eric Merienthal is pure beast

  • Almost the whole band is actually there. When I heard them live, nearly half the band was substitutes.

  • 7:04 how is he doing that?

  • multiphonics

  • @MagicmAKir pretty much just trilling like crazy

  • @MagicmAKir i'm pretty sure it is something similar to when you trill from a G to a D, it makes it sound really cool with the multiple note skipping

  • @MagicmAKir

Trill the side F while alternate notes on the top stack. (G A B etc.)

  • hey some of those sax parts are not hard but challanging, but man are they really fun to play =)

  • Impressive Andy Martin solo.Andy is playing with a playful sassyness. He ha a beautiful coler of tone that really sizzles and pops.

  • I play sax, and I noticed, a lot of his songs aren't too incredibly hard. but then when you look at the trumpet parts....oh my gad!!!!

  • aw, man. too bad craig ware wasn't there for you guys.
