I've often thought this track could be a reference to 'gogatsu byoh', or the May Blues. It's a phenomenon in Japan where owing to the fact that most university terms start and companies take on new employees around this time, stress is high and depression runs rife. The weather also changes very quickly, with one day warm and sunny and the next cold, rainy and blustery. Suicides are also more common around this time.
