I was a year below Martin at Passmores School in Harlow, Essex in the seventies. Never knew him or that he even played guitar.He left to tour with Stefan Grapelli (as you do when your 17...!!!). I went on to play guitar in pop/rock bands etc... If only I'd known he played maybe I could have got some earlier experience.. Martin is such a naturally gifted player.Saw him play at a guitar fest in a shopping mall in Suffolk once. He appeared from a shoe shop, opened his case and played his stuff...
