my powerdirector is really slow, i can't work with it this way. does anybody knows a solution for this problem?

@GoonieKidz I used Cyberlink PowerDirector 8 and it lets you save it as WMV or AVI or other video formats.

@GoonieKidz I can't remember exactly which profile type I saved it under but it was either Windows Media Video 9 DVD Quality 1600 kbps or 2000 kbps. Both will make the video 720 by 480 rez.

No you dont have to use mpeg its one of your choices then choose 1080i and then render it yourself then upload never upload directly.

I notice this video is in 480p. Can Cyberlink PowerDirector export at 854x480? YouTube doesn't like 720x480 for widescreen, and that's what my camera shoots in. I was thinking about getting this program if I can get the correct resolution for YouTube without HD.

@GothicRunes cyberlink doesn't export to 854 by 480. PowerDirector exports at 720 by 480. If YouTube doesn't like that rez too much then you can change the resolution to 854 by 480 with a program many use for video converters called 'handbrake'. It's free and just google it and you can dl it.

how did you add multipliable video tracks?

@OrionNerds In powerdirector there is a PiP ( Picture in Picture) track. You can just add a video onto that track and can change the size and place it anywhere. you can also click the PiP icon with a plus sign so you can add up to 9 video tracks at once.

Also, the opening sequence with 4 pictures at once is an effect in Powerdirector called TV Wall. I didn't use the PiP for that part.

I have windows Vista and i heard it lags alot for vista does it work for vista and would it work well if i didnt have the new intel prosesors ( i3, i5 ect)

@MrCONDOR54321 it works well with vista and its optimized for quad core and still works well with dual core processors. I have this program on my cousin's core 2 duo Vista comp and it works even better with my windows 7 and my quad core i5-750. I think it would work best with an i7 with a decent video card.

I do recommend this. It is very easy to use. It uploads directly to youtube and facebook. It works well with HD and does a whole lot more like make really good slideshows.

Deluxe is almost the exact same as Ultra except that with Ultra you can burn to Blu Ray and watch on your Blu Ray player but with Deluxe you still can edit HD video and save files in HD resolution and upload to youtube but only author to DVDs.

thanks but I know for sure that it can do more that what I did with it! I'm still playing around with it also and sometimes I watch other peoples videos and try to see if I can do the same thing with PowerDirector.

It's pretty good with HD. There is a youtube HD setting that uses WMV that is great which uploads directly after converting the video file. There is a specific facebook setting also as well as many other video file formats to choose from.
