He is the most inspiring person i know! No, im not saying this just because he's famous im saying it because hes gone 7 years with this disease, he's donated, fundraiser, and testified. He did that so younger children dont have to go through what he does. im truly astounded by how smart and caring he is! I will forever look up to nick as an amazing role model, im glad he became famous. for anyone that is against this because their are other problems then this then you go testify! Bam. yall crazy
its not selfish if i care a bout where our money is going. has it ever crossed your mind that there is not a cure. i want us to fix out current problems which is good in the long term because then we can fix these other things. if we give 50,000,000 dollars to finding a cure for diabetes. Other cuases are not just gonna be really pissed off, there gonna want money like that too. There thousands of causes!
1. Nick could'nt give two shits about diabetes until he got it. goes to show how superficial it is. He give off the impresion that he cares about each individual diabetic but in the back of his mine he only cares about his diabetes.
2. Were spending so much money for a "cure" that we dont even no exists After all this time and money were not even close. people should there money towards a more direct cause like feeding kids in africa
what 13 year old REALLY even thinks about diabetes and cancer? It's not on the top of many kids minds. When he first got it he knew nothing about it and he also wasn't famous then. He speaks about it to raise awareness and people donate money for research so maybe one day there will be a cure. There isn't a cure for all cancers so does that mean people should stop raising money? no, of course not. The money is going to a good cause and that's your choice if you don't want to donate.
@joocrazy1 I am someone who will put money towards donating because I have people in my family who have diabetes and I wish there was a cure so my dad wouldn't have to check his sugar levels everyday or really watch what he eats. It's not something that people enjoy going through and clearly you have zero sympathy for people who are diagnosed with diabetes.
@jessslalonde dont get me wrong. i have sympathy for diabetics. But do you relise how much debt were in? I just feel like we have enough problems. and every one wants money to go to a cause that relates to him or her when realistically we cant donate enough money to every cause
@joocrazy1 so what, we all should stop donating money to help save peoples lives because we have enough problems? that is the most selfish thing someone could say. if we don't all help each other out then nothing will get solved. I don't care if it's nick jonas talking about it or a 10 year old girl, the point is they are raising awareness so maybe sometime in the future (hopefully the near future) we can save millions of lives.
Sometimes i wish i could take the diagnosis out of them and put it in me if it is possible i will risk my life for the others with type 1 especially since i am a kid ( age 11) and my mom is a nurse i want to help if you know anything i can do to help reply to me. Please!!!
