he is of course a decent player, but the henry comparisons are premature...he has the height and pace and speed, but still lacks the classy finishing of henry; at the moment he is just another wing forward, who if xfered to liverpool will not receive a lot of pt (yes i do think that kuyt is stronger, preferred by rafa, and more ready right now)

Babel is a great player, has the potential to be the next Henry. Hope he comes to the premiership, preferably Arsenal so Wenger can nurture his talent so he can reach that potential. If not I would like him to join LFC rather than ManU or Chelsea.

I agree with those who believe that he will develop into a Bergkamp-esque 2nd striker. Was much more potent for the Dutch U21s in that role. Still, although I believe he isn't amazing at the mo', can become a great player and extremely useful playing anywhere along the front line...also we gotta give him time to settle. YNWA

dantdavies: He's not better than kewell at his best, but who knows how good harry's gonna be this season? I'm hopeful kewell will be back to his best this season, if he is Babel won't mind 1 season of learning and playing maybe 20 games.
This guy will end up being a striker, possibly a great one.

This guy looks good. But by buying players from other leagues, do Liverpool run the risk of wasting another season while the new players settle in.
Is there any chance that Liverpool can buy Arjen Robben, Im sure thats possible for queresma mancini money. At least he is proven in the Premiership and could make LFC complete.

he looks a good player but if he does come to liverpool we need to give him time to adjust, pennant at first looked awful but later on in the season his performances picked up considerably and he now has a platform on which to build for next season.

Babel is more suited to the English game. Size, strength, speed. He will do better than Quaresma. The way he runs at defenders also reminds me of Thierry Henry!

I don't want him for Liverpool unless he's a back up for Quaresma and Mancini. To be honest I'm not that impressed by him, his tricks look akward and it isn't hard to look good in the Dutch league.

Great skills and I hope he joins Liverpool as well. Didn't like the compilation though. We wanna see the player in full flow, not someone's cutting and splicing skills. Too much flicking about and too many silly effects.
