This thing works great. I use it on a 22X20 Mapex maple with an EMAD2 and a Remo smooth white PS. Mounted offset near the top. Not only lower, but a much rounder fuller sound. You can hear more of the kick head, like the slap and stuff too. Little effect on the pedal action. Great product!
