@signguy8u Did you need to remove the entire fairing for the inner speaker install?! I am trying to get as much info as I can so when I get my bike I can have a killer setup. Nice bike!

@kukalie83 nope, we did it w/ the inner fairing still on the bike a small recipicating saw is what we used but it can be cut with a jig saw or dremil then grindered to desired size, the tweeter were just a hole saw and glued in, go ahead and pull the trigger, great sound with room in bags still.

Not sure who makes it though; based on this thread and others on the HD forums. It would appear the same manufacturer that makes ARC Audio.

Also do a search on the DIY Audio Forums for a discussion. I can't post the link for some reason.

I've had this in almost a year, it's still rocking very hard. I installed one in a buddies street glide, he loves at as well...

@1fast2liter pioneer DEH-P4900 it's a couple years old but I got the same one in my truck with ipod. great unit that can still be found on ebay sometimes

@signguy8u did you use the bikertronics kit also? and is this unit waterproof also as i do get caught in alot of downpours...

@1fast2liter yes the Biketronics lets me use all the hand control's vol. up/ down ect. the head unit and the speakers are NOT waterproof, they do make units and speaker for Marine use like in a boat that are waterproof, when I get caught in the rain I throw some gloves over the deck, I dont worry about the speakers too much. There are products out there that have a plastic cover that folds down over the deck also. hope this info helps.

I LOVE ROAD GLIDES! probably my next bike...I have an old bmw airhead R100RT and an R100RS, love old bmw airheads. roadglides are savage though, and you can play Dethklok sure you have Thunderhorse too...I love the strange fairing...but its frame mounted...so much better than the Electraglide fairing. oh...you need Manowar Return of the Warlord for your Ipod hehe...rock on and ride on with your most epic motorcycle.

@davidcunningham73 it's a seat off of a earlier model Dyna. I had to fab the bracket a little but it works fine (for short rides)

I would like to get rid of the chrome bar that goes over rear fender do you have to cut it or can you buy 2 pieces that fit in? I seen one guy had his turn signals inside the ends

thanks, I have had people say "it's looks Getto" but thier not riding it. Also when you have been hit twice by old ladys in cars, anything to help me be seen is a plus.
