I remember when I was a Waiter on the Song of Norway and Song of America. By the time we had to sing this song we were soooo tired but we HAD to just like dancing in Caribbean, Italian and Tropical Nights...all this for getting a better tip from the guests as the company paid us the great ammount of $50,00.- per month thank to the flags of convenience.
You are welcome @RCIfans , I know it's a sad but that's the way the industry has found its way to grow faster and faster. The best example is Cunard with the reflag of their vesels to Bermuda instead on England. The reason they gave is that from now on they will be able to host weddings onboard.....the real reason is to reduce the costs of operation by reducing the number of european crew and replacing them with Filipino and Indian crew for half of salary and almost double extension of contract.
