John stamos ended full house because ABC wanted to put full house on abc family and it wouldn't have been seen in EVERY country after he said he wouldn't return for the 9th season cuz of that. Everyone also said that bob saget and dave coulier agreed thus it ended.

Even though this aired during the credits of the final aired episode, "Michelle Rides Again", it was actually filmed during the 2nd to last aired episode, "All Stood Up". That was actually the final episode filmed. If you watch the final scene from that episode where Stephanie gives Danny a big hug in the living room before walking out the front door, you'll notice they are wearing the same clothes as they are in this curtain call.

ABC claimed to the cost of making the show were too high. Then the WB tried to show it on the channel, but John Stamos refused to do it because there was hardly any WB channels at the time and he was angry because it was not a major network. Everyone else announced they wanted to move on in the end so the WB could not show it

@snowydro1 2 stories, well technically 4... the 1st is the garage (then they converted it to a bedroom) outside you walked up the stairs to get to the first floor, there was, a living room and the kitchen (they had an alcove in the earlier episodes)
upstairs it was 4 bedrooms. Danny's Jesse's Stephenie and Michelle. and Djs room
@snowydro1 other guy gave you a dumb answer. The correct one is no. They are 2 different sets right beside each other. the first one has a real staircase that leads to nothing (a downwards staircase off the set) and the second set (up-stairs hallway, DJ/Stephanie/Michelle bedroom is a set with only a landing and two downward steps leading into a pit to give the illusion of walking to the second floor. my dads friend worked as a best boy on the set off full house during season 6, 7 and 8. :)
I still watch reruns of full house and family matters, all the good shows died in the late 90's. (The era where good sitcoms at their high point die) :'(

I used to watch this show every week with my dad when it was on the air. I was about 6 or 7 when it ended. I was so devastated! I ended up watching reruns of the episodes for years because of the episodes I missed because I was too little to see. This just brought me back and made me cry a little at how much the world has changed from the decade I was a child in.
I was born like two years after the show ended but I still absolutely love full house it is my favorite show. I wish I were part of their family it must be nice to be part of a big family with your Danny, Stephanie, Michelle, DJ, Becky, Jesse, NIcky, Alex and of course, Joey.
i was born a year or two before it ended or just when it ended, so i never really got to watch it when it aired, but i always watched reruns of it when i was little with my older sister. and it is easily the best show to be ever shown on television. i love it so much that i continuously watch the episodes again and again. i wish i had a family like theirs!

I remember this episode.
It's been looooooong time ago, I was teenager :) and couldn't belive this is the end of my favourite show (favourite at the time LOL). I started watching this once again to see what was so special in the show...
I remember it used be every Sunday at 3.00pm (in Poland) and there was no chance to miss any episode.
It would be nice to see new series "Full House Reunion" :)

@JumperIzzy, its all about perception. I noticed he wasn't smiling joyfully. To me it looked like he was not enjoying the last time he was announced as "Danny Tanner". Put yourself in his shoes. Think about the day you plan on starting your retirement. How would you feel on that day?

@JumperIzzy To me, it seemed like he walked out there slowly and in that manner because it was hard to embrace and accept the fact that it was their last show. I'm sure it was an emotional taping for everyone, Bob included. He seemed kind of sad when we made his way towards the rest of the group.

i mean now that good quality family shows are gone, ABC Fam has really gone to the dogs with stuff like pretty little liars, secret life, and make it or break it. i mean they're not bad shows, they're just not ABC FAMILY (underlined x3) material. it should be ABC Young Adult.

i'm crying!!!!!!!!! it ended before i was really old enough to appreciate it. but 4 years ago when i was 9, my friend showed it to me and now i'm in love! i've seen every episode of all 8 seasons. but now, the olsen twins are just as messed up as almost every young actress in Hollywood.

i like full house i have all the seasons but did anyone notice not much changed the family got closer but........joey is still single, danny is still a widower jesse and rebecca still live with the family kimmy is still funny as hell but is still annoying the only thing that really chnged was DJ got back with steve at the very end....please don't give me thumbs down!

THe kids grew up very quickly,Michelle became a big girl, Steph a teenager,and Candace a lady and bob saget and others started to get older..Keeping the show on would have had no interest,because 8 seasons are enough.One more season was useless.Seeing Steph and her boyfriends,candace marrying with Steve maybe,but after...useless.

ABC claimed to the cost of making the show were too high. Then the WB tried to show it on the channel, but John Stamos refused to do it because there was hardly any WB channels at the time and he was angry because it was not a major network. Everyone else announced they wanted to move on in the end so the WB could not show it

How can people say there is no meaning to this show? Just because it didnt have "real issues" it made my day, and millions of every peoples, just a little bit better. This house basically was my childhood. :)

@snowydro1 2 stories, well technically 4... the 1st is the garage (then they converted it to a bedroom) outside you walked up the stairs to get to the first floor, there was, a living room and the kitchen (they had an alcove in the earlier episodes)
upstairs it was 4 bedrooms. Danny's Jesse's Stephenie and Michelle. and Djs room

@snowydro1 other guy gave you a dumb answer. The correct one is no. They are 2 different sets right beside each other. the first one has a real staircase that leads to nothing (a downwards staircase off the set) and the second set (up-stairs hallway, DJ/Stephanie/Michelle bedroom is a set with only a landing and two downward steps leading into a pit to give the illusion of walking to the second floor. my dads friend worked as a best boy on the set off full house during season 6, 7 and 8. :)

I used to watch this show every week with my dad when it was on the air. I was about 6 or 7 when it ended. I was so devastated! I ended up watching reruns of the episodes for years because of the episodes I missed because I was too little to see. This just brought me back and made me cry a little at how much the world has changed from the decade I was a child in.

I was born like two years after the show ended but I still absolutely love full house it is my favorite show. I wish I were part of their family it must be nice to be part of a big family with your Danny, Stephanie, Michelle, DJ, Becky, Jesse, NIcky, Alex and of course, Joey.

i was born a year or two before it ended or just when it ended, so i never really got to watch it when it aired, but i always watched reruns of it when i was little with my older sister. and it is easily the best show to be ever shown on television. i love it so much that i continuously watch the episodes again and again. i wish i had a family like theirs!
