  • THOSE ENGINES, ARE FUCKING HUGE LOL

  • beautiful plane

    what a monster

  • Shit!!!,He almost go out the earth :-o

  • I would love a ride in a Mig-25 especially while its doing Mach 3.2.

man that would make my life if I can fly one.

  • Holy shit, the MIG was almost in outer space!

    Beautiful images.

  • There is a company in Russia that give rides in Migs. I think for 5000.00 you get the airline tix hotel and Mig flight. I would love to do that.

  • I remember Space Adventures sold flights for $25,000 but that was a few years ago. It looks like there are a bunch of companies that do it now like RusAdventures, they only charge $20,000.

I would take the flight if it was $5000!

  • I might be wrong about how much. I would love to fly in a Mig 29 instead

  • Surely the fuel is more than 5000 $ so we can't blame them for these prices :)

  • @sixpackgenius The company was "MIGs, etc." and they were the first visible entity doing it. And 5k was the price, back when the dollar was king in eastern Europe.

  • is that the afterburner at 0:23? :) 5/5 AWESOME video.

  • Looks like they are trying to start the port engine.

  • you mean LEFT engine...no port/starboard in aviation

  • you're wrong. There is port/starboard in aviation, in U.S. Navy aviation.

  • Youre totally screwed if you have to bail out at that altitude. Thats why U2 pilots wear a pressurized flight suit.

  • but it seem no air company gonna buy that

  • Mig group is trying to transform mig25 into a supersonic civil airliner.

  • Sounds good! =)

  • I'm interested of the high of this flight.20 km?Curvature of the Earth is seen.

  • I know the ceiling for a Mig-25 is over 20km. Here is something from Wikipedia, I don't know if it is true or not: The MiG-25 was capable of high performance, including a maximum speed of Mach 3.2 and a ceiling of 90,000 ft (27,000 m), although on Aug. 31, 1977, an E-266M, a specially modified Foxbat, flown by MiG OKB Chief Test Pilot Alexander Fedotov, set the recognized absolute altitude record for a jet aircraft under its own power, reaching 123,523.58 ft (37,650 m) at Podmoskovnoye, USSR.

  • All true, phenomenal performance

  • @wwww1966

    23'000 m ~ 75 459 ft

  • How many jet fighters out there are capable of going up that high today?

Have you seen the engines on that sucker? a couple of freaking craters!

  • What a big beast of a plane!

  • How much did this flight cost. i heard u can do it through incredible adventures

  • Last time I heard it was around $25,000. It is probably more now since the U.S. Dollar is in the toilet.

  • que gran avion....el Mig25

  • beautiful view, i'd love to do that

  • it was on a site deticated to the sr-71.

  • Soviet Mig Pilot Belinko Recalls:

Chasing the SR-71 along the Siberian Coast in a Mig-25, I could not match it's speed. One flight in the Mig-25 and we had to change our engines. I could not believe that such technologies existed.

  • Where did you here this?

  • I am not surprised by this. An old friend of mine's father use to program the cameras for the SR-71. I asked his father if they ever flew over China and the Soviet Union. He had no comment but mentioned that China, North Vietnam and North Korea tried many times to shoot the Blackbird down with no success. They would blind fire the missles and hope for a lucky hit.

  • Seconded, even in comparison books, while the Foxbat is the fastest combat aircraft, SR-71 is the fastest aircraft full stop capable of taking off.(X-15A/2 fastest full stop, but only because it was dropped from a bomber)

  • maximum height of the flight 25000 metres were developed for deleting the rockets and plane spy

  • Amazing....

He looks as if he's hardly moving in yet he's moving 3 times the speed of sound.

  • HOLY SHIT!

  • this mig can climb on 30-36 km !!!!!!!

  • no sound...

  • ugly

  • Who? You?

  • What kind of crazy nutcase would stand that close to the back of it as it's starting up. (0:17 sec - 0:25 sec)

  • did it occur to you that the mig wasn't activated yet?

  • The flames coming out of it would suggest that it had or was just about to be activated. It's a pretty straightforward rule; if there are flames emitting from the jet engine you are standing behind, no matter how small, move somewhere else.

  • The plane wasn't even turned on you idiot.

  • Only in Russia.

  • holy sh*t!!!

  • I'd give my left bollock to do that

  • Beautiful!
