  • Don't bother with lighter fluid. Either [1]be careful and pull the sticker off or [2]assist yourself with a well angled razor blade, slowly. Being careful may still leave residue like you see in this video - and that's fine. Just find something oil based - either a touch of oil itself or even a little bit of oil based lotion. Rub it in to the sticky residue, then rub it off and it'll look like that sticker was never there.

    Done this countless times.

  • I did this whilst smoking.

Now I have no book and no hair.

    Thanks.

  • This website is good for checking where you can get the lowest prices on textbooks:

  • You need to either wear gloves when doing this or use some tool to gently rub with like a soft eraser possible (test first on something unimportant to make sure the eraser doesn't dissolve) on the lighter fluid instead of your finger as you are absorbing petroleum distillates into your body doing this. We have enough of a chemical soup to live in without actually doing it to ourselves. Cancer anyone?

  • So very informative...I sent it to my restoration library professional. Lighter fluid should be used in trench lighters from World War II.
