I think Chizik is going to succeed--and do it quickly-- and here's why. First, you look at his gig at Iowa State. Chizik didn't just all of a sudden forget how to coach football. He didn't have any players! The guy went undefeated two years in a row as a DC at Auburn in '04 and at Texas in '05. He went 26-0 in those two years. Iowa State simply didn't have the talent level to compete in the Big 12. Pete Carroll and Urban Meyer would have trouble winning in Ames. Auburn has SEC-winning talent.
