  • Awesome video. What's the song at the beginning?

  • What's next? Hill-climbing on go-karts???

I like URALs but for off-road, I'll stick to the way better fun of my thumper or ATV.

  • might get one. depends on how reliable they are. i keep hearing things about how they were back in the day. would i be able to take one on a roadtrip. lets say 1000 miles and come back without needing to work on the thing? got my eye on a patrol T and a solo st

  • @choopdewoot i own a motorcycle shop in maine and we sell urals and they are very reliable we are not on their website but we do sell them

  • @pandalover90210 thanks! would they last a ride from missouri to california and back?

  • @choopdewoot easily it may need a quick repair if anything goes wrong but it is a do it yourself type of engine it comes with a tool kit so you are set

  • My respect to Mr Cob and Dangerous Don!!! You guys rock!

  • Приятно за русский мотоцикл!!!))

  • A solo version (sans sidecar) might make a halfway decent trials bike. The motor is made for low end torque and they're geared fairly low. Good for pulling stuff and powering out of mud bogs.

  • I LOL'ed on the white moto at around 2:30.

    XD

    These Urals are very cool...

  • а вот по таким местам лучше ездить с пассажиром(в коляске), неровён час перевернуться! а так хорошее видео

  • Very cool!

  • I almost wouldn't trust myself with a motorcycle that tough. I'd be too tempted to crash it through a fence and take offroad shortcuts.

  • Very cool bikes enjoyed watching mad

  • Russian "Ural" - great motorcycle with long history.

    Realy fun bike. :)

  • Definitely! Have a '05 Gear Up, take it off road all the time, and always have a blast. In fact, my bro just sold his CBR, and bought one!

  • 3x2!!!!

    I like!!!

  • Great to see a Ural being driven like it should be. I'd have been a bit gentler on the throttle and lowered the tyre pressures a bit, but it's obvious that it should be considered a 3 wheeled jeep as well as a touring motorcycle, $10K ? Cheap.

  • Yeah, 4 wheelers and dirtbikes may do it more easily and faster, but that's not the point. Some people just don't get it.

  • Excellent!

  • It would have been easier without the sidecar. $10k, no way.

  • not really. the 2 wheel drive is what pushed it up there. The sidecar's wheel engages and pushes too.

  • great.

  • for Plataea: Nonsens! Where is "original"BMW- now? :))))

  • The Ural as I understand it is a Russian copy of a BMW horozontally opposed twin, they are exported to the US, usually when they arrive the dealers will swap out the transmission gearing, change the oil and do a few other things to make it more road worthy, prices range between 3-6000$ US w/sidecar.

  • Wrong - @10k w/car/2wd

  • Ural is very good, is'n it? :) How much does ural coast in USA? In Russia you can take it for 200 $ (not new)But it was simple model.

  • A diesel powered Ural would be fucking badass! About a 1500cc, water-cooled, 2wd switchable, 6 speed beast! I still can't believe that diesels haven't caught on with 4 wheelers! Just a select few machines use them:(

  • ironworker, buy urself a Ural, build a diesel in it and show us ;P

  • Urals need a low range. It's a bear on the clutch with first gear being as high as it is

  • got a point there...

  • Yep, those Urals need Diesels

  • I took my Diesel Dnepr through Death Valley at midnight alone. My Diesel if far superior to the Gas versions. I enjoyed the video, and I live right around the corner from Death Valley.
