OMG Tom! I wish all teachers could teach like this. I have asked our school system but unfortunately, here in Australia, the teachers are stuck with set topics (that was what I was told anyways)

Hey Tom. I kept waiting to hear what you actually did in your classroom. As a High School teacher of 20 years (American Literature/1960's Culture), I wonder if you can you show us how you taught all these "Strands?" Other than read kids a quote and write it on the board? What did they do to present information that was "downloaded into their brains?" You say kids "got it." Got what? Demonstrate the results of what you say you teach. Claims mean nothing. Did you evaluate writing/thinking? How?
