Actually, 4kidstv did that on purpose just to cover up the real thing. They thought since they had kids from ages 10 and below watching, and shaman king is a semipopular tv show, they had to use that news thing to cover up the word, but they went overboard and skipped a bunch of pieces of they show. MAYBE THATS JUST ME. I just think that's it.

No, that was just the local FOX affiliate, WTTG FOX 5 (which happens to be the local affiliate here), because Hurricane Isabel was going through the DC area at the time. When the episode was rerun, it had no weather alert.
