Squirrel, what product would you recommend using to make clean up easier and protect my kit from rust, dirt, mud, etc. I've heard of people using Maxima SC1, Moo-slick, WD-40, and Blaster. I'm not sure of the pros/cons are between oil, silicone and dry Teflon lubricants. (P.S. I know you have done videos related to stuff like this, but what products are best at what.)

I dont know if you have a video on this or not but, how exactly do you match your gearing on an electric car? is it something like even number pinion and even # spur or odd pinion and even spur etc.? (if that makes sense) thanks! im kinda new to electric.
hey Squirrel,i want to start getting into using lypo batteries but dont know anything about what the numbers mean or what company sells the best for the money?
what shocks do you run on your short course trucks??? im looking to get a really good pair for my Slash 4x4 that doesnt have the big bog in the back end
@GoingBrushless4X4 I go with stock to see how it does and then upgrade if they need it. Those shocks are fine, but if you really want to upgrade, then power strokes.
I have a Tekin 2250 and a Tekin 1700 motor and I'm running a RX8 on one and I want to know if the Mamba Monster esc would be stronger I also know it's not sensored bt is it any stronger?
@masterfurb1 Thank you, and trust me, I am done listening to people who want to change me. Like me, hate me, I dont care- I am who I am and this channel is about the information and not ego or fame. I do this in my spare time, I have a profession that pays the bills, so I have no incentive to do things differently for one or two people =)
@mmRC1524 the lower the lv the slower it is and the higher the kv the faster it will go and the lower kvs will be not warming up as much and u can gear it higher
@mmRC1524 kv is the number of motor rpm's per volt. higher kv motors have faster revolutions but as a result they tend to have lower torque. Likewise, lower kv motors have slower revolutions but they also have more torque. For example, a 1/10 scale average-sized racer would use a 3000-6000kv motor, while a bigger heavier 1/8 scale monster truck uses a 2200kv motor.
hey squirrel, i have the losi mini monster baja. Im pretty sure that it's the same as your mini lst2 just in the monster truck version. I have been through a couple servos, motors, and esc's. Is it worth uprgading and if so what do you suggest i do? thanks
This is how I do my vids my friend as it focuses on the RC or topic at hand. My face doesnt matter if you need to see a RC or something in the shot... or my balls. If it bugs you that much then do not watch =) It will not bother me as I am about the information and not vanity to show my face.
@Squirrelod Honestly, after all these years, it would seem weird if there wasnt the bench on the right, and some of you on the left. I wouldnt change a thing :)
what is better more or less kv
