Nice unit. I worked on the An/ARC-38A version in the Coast Guard. We used them for SAR missions in Grumman Albatross HU-16E And the C-123. I little finicky to work on but the SSB signal really got through when it counted.

A great unit. I used to work on them a lot when I was in the USAF. We had them on our C-123Providers used with the 180L3 antenna tuner.
