If you look in total, the Germans did an amassing job in taking nearly all of Europe. Ofc they can not win every battle, no one ever have they were heavily outnumbered but held their stand. Whermacht were the harshest and most flexible army in WW2. And yes the Norwegian Telemarksbataljonen did a great job, thanks to Great Briton for dragging us into the war.
@Kongluring I recenrly read about the battle of the surrounding parts of Trondheim. Their actually was Swedish volounters fighting in the Norwegian army! No one mentions them. My father is Swedish! God bless our Norwegian/Swedish and Finnish soldiers in Afghanistan.

First, new vehicle wasn't needed before in 2005 when the IED threat become real other places than in the southern. And buying something are really expensive, and even here in the rich Norway money doesn't grow on trees and new armored vehicles has to be built first and the waiting list are huge. Right now it's three years of waiting if we ordered the dingo's to day.
@iqtuz Shut the fuck up, its the United States fault that the fighters are outdated, and the Norwegian military have got totally new Rifles and Infantry vehicles. the "Gelenderwagen" vehicles or the jeeps is actually most in use of the National Guard and almost all vehicles from Norway in Afghanistan is now Iveco LMV, CV9030N and Dingo 2

And no, there are NO exceptions in the Norwegian Military, let's say it requires you to run 3000 meters on less then 15 minutes, and you run it on 15 min and 30 sec, not even that are an exception. And comparing paintball and airsoft to real shooting are just silly. Real gun has recoil and require more training then paintball/airsoft.

The existance of their members is known to be in Europe, Asia, and even USA and Iran.
Still the most efficent ways is usually a liquidation or a removal of where the nest started to grow. Removal of important communicative nests is often opening new chances to a surrender in combat.
There is simply no way to get rid of all of them, only time may do. Not Norway, neither NATO and USA.
Having the lowest amounts of soldiers while getting the job done is primary the best thing to do. As even the risk of losing soldiers is lower, primary means better education for the new recruits and further soldier education after the military.
How many soldiers there is to be found is not relevant.
Having a squad where 30% of the members is harmed, usually means abort or failure if you are thinking about your own survival! And do not worry, there is no Norway VS USA.

NATO are just keeping the country in an order because there are allot of terrorist that would like the power of the land if we walked out. @pkbjorn35 I will tell you why all these things take so much time, I worked in the military for almost 4 years. First, new vehicle wasn't needed before in 2005 when the IED threat become real other places than in the southern. And buying something are really expensive, and even here in the rich Norway money doesn't grow on trees and new armored vehicles has to be built first and the waiting list are huge. Right now it's three years of waiting if we ordered the dingo's to day.

@spectrescere Because I know the system, after I recently quit my job as a soldier and moved over to recruiting to the soldier profession. And no, there are NO exceptions in the Norwegian Military, let's say it requires you to run 3000 meters on less then 15 minutes, and you run it on 15 min and 30 sec, not even that are an exception. And comparing paintball and airsoft to real shooting are just silly. Real gun has recoil and require more training then paintball/airsoft.

I Spesial styrkene så ligger man i knallhard våpentrening med utallige antall forskjellige våpen, ingen har nok erfaring før man kommer til opptak. Og ja, det er mulig for deg å komme med i det Norske forsvar, men du må ha blitt Norsk statsborger først og etter du har blitt det så melder du deg til vernepliktsverket da du er over 18 år. Husk det, det eneste de legger vekt på, er fysisk form, ikke erfaring.

Also, I can confirm that the name Taliban is not only located in Afghanistan.
The existance of their members is known to be in Europe, Asia, and even USA and Iran.
Still the most efficent ways is usually a liquidation or a removal of where the nest started to grow. Removal of important communicative nests is often opening new chances to a surrender in combat.
There is simply no way to get rid of all of them, only time may do. Not Norway, neither NATO and USA.

Having the lowest amounts of soldiers while getting the job done is primary the best thing to do. As even the risk of losing soldiers is lower, primary means better education for the new recruits and further soldier education after the military.
How many soldiers there is to be found is not relevant.
Having a squad where 30% of the members is harmed, usually means abort or failure if you are thinking about your own survival! And do not worry, there is no Norway VS USA.
