  • simply stunning and devastating. this and aeris's death have to be the hardest-hitting moments in game history and the crowning achievements of uematsu's career.

  • Wayyy to much vibrato on the flute. Fix it and this would be quite good.

  • Eargasm.

  • Best FF theme ever.

  • FFVI to SNES was so epic.. :')

  • Wonderful work; my ears appreciate it.

  • Nice arrangement.

  • Tooooooooooooooo good!

    Thx for uploading

    Heart-wrenching

    <3 FF VI

  • Damn it, this made me cry.

  • Nice Remix. Very sad song indeed.

  • Yeah a lot of memories are tied to this game for me. A good one everytime I died I the game would start you off at the last save and there was no game over scene so I would tell y brother that I hadnt died yet. Worked good until he got into the game. thanks dude.

  • Not just in your version but I love how this song includes those few key notes from lockes theme so that even musically theres a connection

  • Have you made a FF2 remix of The Rebel Army? You don't have to but it would be awesome =p

  • @coolcrazyman SSH did

  • I've been listening to this for about an hour now .. and I still haven't started crying. oO

    C-A

  • yes this part his my favo music of all FF's.

    This music is truely epic.

  • I literally cried. It's really hard when you lose your loved ones.

  • Me and my girlfriend are into games especially rpg's like this. I wanna dance with her while this song plays, kiss her, and tell her I love her so very much. :)

  • I agree with everyone else. The music from Final Fantasy 6 have always been the most inspirational for me. Whenever I hear them, especially those that have been remixed well, always makes my mind wander and draw into a world of contemplation and emotion. Such heartfelt songs. Final Fantasy 6 will always remain as my favorite game of all time. This remix is beautifully accomplished! Thank you!

  • i hope they remake this game for the psp (a ps3 version would be good too but i dont have one yet lol).

  • @hdzrk86 There are "3in1" cd's for ps1.

Its called final fantasy trioligy, and another one, but i forgot the name of that.

But each cd (game) has 3 parts of the older Final fantasies (1,2,3,4,5,6) They also included some new video's on the cd thats part of the game(s)

    Have fun m8:)

  • @trancelistic i know. im hoping they release them as ps1 classics on the playstation store. i could get it for my ps2 but itd be more fun if i could play where and whenever i want. i used to have it for gba but traded it in cause i was 13 and felt geeky. now i couldnt give a crap. same with kingdom hearts lol

  • Can I get this somewhere? It's awesome!

  • This mix is so good that someone on TV Tropes linked to it because it conveys the sorrow of the scene so well.

  • Could I get a link to that? :D

  • @masterogrp TV Tropes brought me here.

  • @ junoproject - The plot with mog is the most depressing in the WoR. You enter narshe and Lone wolf says theres nothing left but a moogle and some treasures.

A meaning one, so no more moogle procreation =x

  • @El90Proof There's nothing suggesting that the moggles didn't go elsewhere... gotta keep up hope for our favorite guy with the pompom

  • The only sense of happiness found in this game is at the ending, where everyone finds closure. It intrigues to know whether or not Shadow truly dies at the end, his change of character is perhaps the most apparent in the game. Man... i sure i hope i get to see a remastered version of this game for next gen consoles in my life time. That would be bliss.

  • The story behind this song is so heart breaking :( so fuckin sad guys. the only happy part in this game is beating it and seeing the end honestly, the rest is all sadness really.

  • PS - Unless of course you decide to save Mog, and are able to nurse Grandpa back to health, since you only get one chance to do so. :)

  • And this is why FFVI is the best after FF and FFVII doesnt even have the right to try to claim this title.

Yes, the first one is the best, because of the story behind the game, not the story in the game.

  • The tragic aspect of this game is what made it far superior than any other FF i've played. This game never ceases to amaze me no matter how many playthroughs i've done.. the characters, their individual sorrows, the plot, the music. this game is perfection. Its so immersive. You feel and understand each character's personal scars. Just recalling, Shadow's distrust of others, Cyan's family, Gau's Father, Terra's absence of love, Locke and Rachel, Edgar and Sabin's cointoss. All equally memorable

  • Amen to that!

  • i glad you did this good job man

  • oh my god this version is so beautiful and sad .....very moving

  • great work...

    congratulations!

  • this video game was a life changing experience for me.

  • @Jogonpants I know exactly what you mean!

  • all the music in this game really just makes me want to try and live a better life ... not that im a scumbag or anything lol

  • @drhatchback I would have to agree

honestly hearing this music again brings a tear to your eye

a lot of fond memories of childhood....*sigh*

  • Absolutely beautiful! If I could give you 10 stars, i would.

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...... 5 stars!!!

  • thanks for posting this...........love the music from this game.

  • This is hands down my favorite one of your collection. Truly amazing.

  • Thanks! I like this one too ^_^

  • This track always gets me imagining characters remembering lost loves and lamentations. Really, it's beautiful.

  • @sschafi1 How did you get the instruments to do this?
