These animals are not pet material. They have a venomous bite, are nocturnal, produce a secretion on their brachial gland (a gland on their arm), which, when mixed with their saliva, creates a volatile, noxious toxin that is stored in the mouth. Lorises frequently die in captivity (no word about Sonya, above, for two years, is she still alive?). The pet trade is directly responsible for contributing to their endangerment. Educate yourself, spread the word, help save this wonderful animal.

its called a slow loris. u can buy them from some exotic pet shops for around $100-$200 depending on the store you buy them from. im thinking about getting one
Something brought me back to this place...and I don't remember this comment or this video. I must have been really drunk...or not drunk enough, because this video is actually pretty awesome.
thats a slow loris...mostly sold on the black market its sad really where i used to live in indonesia they would pull out the teeth and sell them on the side of the road durring the day....these are nocturnal hope your taking really good care of it
Lorises, (Madagascar) like the one showed in the video, are prosimian primates, as are lemurs. Within this group is an infraorder called Lorisiformes, which contain lorises, pottos and galagos(African bushbabies). Sloths are related to anteaters and armadillos.
It is definitely not a sloth or a bush baby, but a pygmy slow loris. I've been in an enclosure with these creatures at the Lemur Center in Durham, NC.
Did you ever find out what this is? I've searched but i haven't been able to find a match - i looked at maybe a Dwarf lemur but i still don't think thats what it is. Anyone know? Please!
