  • Send in the citizens kamikaze radio controlled planes.

  • start shooting at the fucking things

  • Glad to see this kind of coverage, esp. from a local station.

  • Actually I believe that law enforcement is going to realize they are indeed on the wrong side of the revolution ! When people get pissed off & rise up against a tyrannical government there's bloodshed on both sides... The police are the first target! Look at Mexico .... Just sayin.....

  • "They" have gone too far and the American people are screwed. We've lost all our freedoms, and even privacy in our cars and homes. It's a bloody nightmare.

And thanks for the refreshing authentic journalism exposing this story. Good job!

  • wow..the future' sure gonna be a lot of fun......

  • Just say 9/11 and u can get away with anything

  • welcome to the police state

  • @yami700thumper Just got approved. 90 days and drones will be roaming "legally".

  • I have seen a "glider" pass over a Occupy Movement protest various times, lower than the hotel next door....so sneaky.

I doubted it was a drone, until i saw this video

  • THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING....GOOD WORK!

  • this is only going to get bigger & bigger. days go on & powers always corrupt, this will be used on you. you are at war with this system & it is out to fuck us all up.power only grows it never lowers until it is ended for good, just look at history(the real history of the world). your a terrorist no mater what you do even raw milk is terrorist look at the patriot ack you can be held for life on jay walking. use your eyes b4 there fucked right out of your skulls!!

they will have guns some day...

  • Target pratice....

  • I don't have a problem with police watching the streets but when they look at you through your walls they are infringing on your privacy rights. Just the thought that they could do this bothers me because you don't know where this could lead not to meantion it's kind of wierd being watched by peeping toms - weather police or not it is strange.

  • @TheChineseEmpire Backscatter x-rays are another way they spy on you. They can virtually undress you and go through the trunk of your car without touching either you or your car. They use the rationale that if you are in the public or your car is parked on a public street, they are not violating your privacy.

  • 50 dislikes-----913 likes-------254,076 VIEWS.... GOT RAW MILK??? then make bacon or sell as pork lol

  • This one will be fun tho guys!! You have guns with scopes and decent range on them. TARGET PRACTICE paid for by you anyways. I say let them fly one over my families property, chick chick BANG! The government and "Law Enforcement" <--(super joke ATM) Is not going to stop pushing the fabric of freedom off the table. Only when we stand and say "Enough is Enough!" will this BS cease.

  • This is outrageous! Now, I have to ask a couple of serious questions. First, will the polices' Predator drones come equipped with or without Hellfire missiles? Second, is there any connection between this decision and the fairly recent revelation by Dennis Blair that U.S. citizens who have been deemed as terrorists can be targeted for assassination, at least abroad? Third, is this the domestic expansion of the policy?

  • this aint no police state try military state the police are being fired for the military to come in

  • Take these filthy pigs down. Stand up for your freedoms or kiss them goodbye.

  • I'll bet someone out there could shoot that glider down! LOL How many losses would it take for them to get the message, no spying on Americans.

  • If it's up high enough, no one could hit it.

  • FUCK HOMELAND SECURITY. thats their excuss to screw us over and not tell us shit. bring down homeland security, their trying to take our rights

  • So I'm curious, just where are they getting the money for this expenditure when most local and state governments are broke?

  • All this means is more doghnut time for the lazy-ass cops.

  • This is so sick! It is straight out of Orwell and the Bible! We are in the last days and the NWO is taking us over, w/their 9/11 they did to us to implement their control over us! Devils from hell!

  • I am a native Houstonian and I would like Channel 2 to follow up on this story of last year. BTW, if it's illegal to aim a laser at an airplane today, it may well be illegal to even point out the thing to anyone in the future. Like most people, I am uncomfortable with someone watching over me uninvited and almost invisable. --- And yes, Dominique is our hottest newscaster in Houston today.

  • @Louloe good idea. I'll bust the Rc stuff when it comes to my town. I stopped flying when I lost my flying partner but now I'll have one again. Hope they dont mind that mine is a combat wing and I'll be trying to knock theirs out of the sky.

  • SHOOT the fucking spy drones out of the sky

  • so where does this police state insanity end? RISE UP people! put a stop to this.

  • ıt's OK when they sneak over you but they get crazy and threaten with death penalty when wiki-leaks sneak over them...

  • Target practice anyone?

Our kids education goes out the window, yet they can spend loot on spying on the people.

If you can track em, spot em and see em, help out your common man, and bring em down!

If your an airplane hobbyist, heres your chance to live out the ole dog fighting days, the enemey is upon ya. Fly on up there and dog them puppies down.

  • @Louloe Great comment, very true about spending money to spy on people. Rather than spend the money on our children’s education. For one these are our tax dollars spent to spy on us. The Peoples money! Everyone needs to ban together on things like this in America. I am glad to see there are still some news channels left who have the courage to report real news.

  • FUCK THE POLICE

  • A UAV is online!

  • I don't trust these crazy ass people

  • This should mainly be kept inside the city to overlook between buildings

  • I am not sure if i should click like or dislike. This is just sickening but i want to show my support for stopping this.

  • The govt using terrorist threats to scare us into surrendering more of our freedoms? No way when did they start doing that? If you're just realizing this now, then you're not as smart as you thought you were. Just wait, some Hunter is gonna shoot the thing down cuz it was scaring all the game away.

  • one day, most parts of the world will be totally under police control, and once this stage is reached - you work for the police, or the police is gonna dominate you!

3:37, did someone notice this good looking female news reporter? JESUS! she´s so sexy!

  • unreal and the fact that they tried to keep it secret is so much worse, not only do they want to violate your civil right now ,but they want to keep the fact that they are violating your right a secret from you, someone should look into this company and

    do something to sabotage them

  • Time to become very unfriendly with law enforcement in Houston.

  • WTF?????!!!!!

  • Love it--yeah we'll worry about that civil rights stuff later.

  • The use of drones has been passed by the US congress as a means of LOCAL police actions against American civilians. This is unconstitutional surveillance. Unknown to most Americans, this is an offshoot of the PATRIOT ACT, written LONG before 911. Drones have capabilities far beyond what the average person realizes, can "see" through buildings, can fire on board weapons with pinpoint accuracy, emit disrupting wave frequencies and send imagery to any point on the globe. We are living in 1984.

  • So the Mexican woman is in agreement for using them to track wetbacks as they sneak into Texas?

  • hmm how long b4 these things are shooting you with tazers and tranquilizers. WTF is happening in this great nation. I fear by the time we rise up and fight it may be too late

  • @NwoResistanceChannel I believe you are on to something there.........

  • No media allowed ?? That should send up red flags . If you do not see how wrong this is. You are a communist. Do you see what is happening ?

  • can they afford to replace em when we shoot em down & burn em? we pay for these things to victimise people in other countries then are suprised when they use it on us. just go ahead & repeal tax laws & bills & bankrupt these fevered egos & fascists who are of the mentality that they ARE the law.

  • Well it seems the Hispanic bitch is in favour of it.

  • @CrashMarket fascists always are.

  • It is a business to shake down the public. Oh ya 110 story buildings don't fall in 8.6 sec. due to fire.

  • Houston must have a huge surplus of funds to spend on expensive toys. I don't see how these will provide any benefit over current police tools.

Perhaps Houston anticipates that it's citizens will be shooting down aircraft with AA batteries and S2A missiles? If that's the case then this makes sense.

  • big brother is watching

  • use a 22 calib on them.

I like that idea a lot! Shoot them down.

Use those subsonic 22 long rifle bullet so they will be virtually silent when used to take them out.

    Let's play ball!

  • The one eye cult is watching you...

  • WHAT THE FUCK? IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE WE HAVE NO DAMN RIGHTS, AND THESE ASS-WHORES USE ANY EXCUSE TO ENTER OUR HOMES, ILLEGAL SEARCH AND SEIZE, TAKE OUR GUNS AND PROPERTY AND THEN LOOK FOR ANY EXCUSE TO DECLARE MARTIAL LAW. O.K. REVOLUTION ANYONE?

  • Every house should get a drone to spy on the cops.

  • lying pigs,.. how we supposed to trust them?

  • I love how the local news covered this, totally surprised on how they pointed out almost right off the bat how this type of power can be abused, kudos local KPRC chan 2. In my honest opinion this type of technology should be considered strictly military application. The true intention of such a device in the local areas would be for a huge sore in crime in which local police cant handle the amount of crime committed or of coarse the real reason i personally feel there preparing for civil unrest.

  • Orwell's 1984. Just by seeing how rights and privacy has been taken away in the present, it's easy to see how 1984 can be accomplished--do everything gradually and say it's for the good of the public.

  • Out of control Orwellian police state all in the name of YOUR safety. Great job covering this story and not cow towing when they police falsely claimed they had a restricted air space. I didn't think there was any TRUE reporting left in the media news stations. Congrats to Channel 2 Houston!

  • This is true journalism! I didn't know local news still had actual journalists. Well done exposing our police state.

  • @dukemalibu Damn right.

  • @dukemalibu White people aren't exposing it - they are announcing it!!!

  • @dukemalibu No doubt! Wow! These journalist better watch there asses now!

  • @dukemalibu Agree 100%. Reporter and news station are heros!

  • @dukemalibu HOUSTON REPORTERS DONT PLAY!

  • taxpayers are paying for all this illegal-search, big-brother stuff. The only way to stop it is to curtail the budgets that maintain them., which could be better used in helping communities rather than surveilling them.

  • Big Brother wants to watch you. lets make this viral

  • @lightofloveunlimited Pigs can fly now talk about ironic...

  • All I can do is shake my head and laugh....they won't succed in bringing us down in the long run.Look out governMENTAL power freaks, and money lovers....your time of ruling is comming to an end!

  • LoL Where's a fucking RPG when you need one =/

  • The USA government is the fucking terrorists here.. shit heads

  • Listen to 1:35 very carefully. Warrent. Can't do it just because you "feel like it" Mr. Police man. Listen to 2:17 very carefully. So, the police want to cover their own butts when they find out the media is around TRACKING THEM! Ha ha ha, I LOVE IT! At 3:00 the police TREATENED the media with the FTC and look what happens at 3:07. Opps, no flight restriction! Too bad mr police man. Looks like the media got you this time - and hopefully, the next time. You are not god mr. police man.

  • Americans are using drones to kill people in afganistan.

  • Y can't the world be privite camras every were someone can see u piss in a bush

  • I'm mildly involved with local emergency preparedness. Some who attended a State level DHS meeting reported that local governments are being offered assistance to purchase armored vehicles & UAV for those local governments willing to foot their share of the bill. I guess the military industrial complex isn't satisfied with selling to the Federal government anymore. I wonder if a underground SAM business will result.

  • SKYNET BECOMES SELF-AWARE AT MIDNIGHT ON DECEMBER 21,2012 :)...buh-bye

  • I WOULD DIFFERENTLY SNIPE THAT SHIT RIGHT DOWN OUT OF THE FUCKIN' SKY, FROM AFAR. IT'S GONNA HAPPEN. IF I THOUGHT OF IT SOMEONE ELSE HAS ALREADY THOUGHT OF IT. AMERICANS LIKE THEIR PRIVACY. "TACKLING PRIVACY AND ILLEGAL SEARCH ISSUES LATER." OK BITCHES. THAT PRIVACY AND ILLEGAL SEARCH IS NOT A FUCKIN' PRIORITY!!!!!! U MOTHAFUCKAS ARE GONNA SEE A LOT OF BROKEN PIECES OF DRONE ON THE GROUND. LMAO!!!!!

  • @leftbehindchildren

The idea of shooting down a drone is as funny as someone shooting down a 747 with a 50 cal rifle. In other words, it's effectively impossible.

The drone is too fast, too high, and too large for small arms to be of any use at all.

You would need some sort of guided projectile or explosive/fragmenting munition to even have a shot... and even then it would still be damn difficult.

  • @DaedalEVE << Um, not really.

There are numerous Long Range High Powered Rifle/Long Guns capable of both reaching, and hurting that smaller sized drone. And if it's traveling at the altitude and speed shown in the video, the number of guns capable of doing damage to that drone from the ground increases substantially.

It's certainly safe from Hand Guns and the average Squirrel gun, but the big guns would be restricted only by the Marksman.

  • @TheSevnthWarrior

The issue is not one of having the projectile reach the target... it's an issue of 1) being too difficult to hit. 2) Not doing sufficient enough damage even if you did get a hit.

To illustrate my point... look for a video (here on youtube) titled "Shooting RC aircraft".

I know you want to be right, and that you honestly believe shooting down a drone is a simple concept... but I can tell you that is it not.

  • illeagal they make the laws up as theu go along

  • After all of the crooked shit that has been going on in New Orleans, you can believe there are people with ornery ideas who will find ways to abuse this technology. Your local Sheriff can't wait to sit back in his office and watch the scenery and find new people to harass with his toy.

This is an invasion of everybody's life and all they need to see is a little group of people out where the Deputies don't know what they are doing and here comes the drone for a GPS fix and cop to check you out!

  • Skynet begins!

  • next, the penis drones that will inseminate wimmen with higher grade genetics.

  • Nazi-drones coming for your family..

  • Hey! If you've nothing to hide, you've nothing to fear. I can't believe folks still believe that bullshit. What's wrong with the cretins USING this stuff? Don't they think that, ultimately, it's going to come back on THEM? Well, I guess that's it: they DON'T think!

God bless low IQs!! It's bloody John Carpenter's 'They Live'!

  • There is not a trace of doubt remaining as to where this is all heading, and we are long past the point of needing to discuss, bemoan, shout, threaten, regret.

Question is - what is anyone going to DO about it?

  • 41 cops disliked this video as well as your freedom...

  • They could always watch you from a helicopter, but that was okay because it was such an effort? Now that it's easier it's wrong? Societies are always a balance of security vs. freedom. The drone doesn't need a warrant because it's not going in anyone's home. There are so many valid uses for these drones, we would be stupid not to use them. The future is going to keep changing, no stopping it.

  • @Khyrid "The drone doesn't need a warrant because it's not going in anyone's home."

So the later version that can hover 10 feet from your window, but outside your home... that's ok too?

"There are so many valid uses for these drones, we would be stupid not to use them. The future is going to keep changing, no stopping it."

NO valid uses WHATSOEVER. It's OPPRESSION. The future doesn't "keep changing" - it GETS changed by those in control, and isn't stopped because people capitulate.

  • @CodeTwo2 No valid uses? So a little girl gets lost and these can be launched repeatedly to search tirelessly day and night for her, that's not a use? We can always be afraid of bad people doing bad things and stay back in the stone age and live in fear of each other, or we can move forward and advance as a species. I like this tech, i hope it isn't abused, but many things can be abused, doesn't mean we shouldn't have them.

  • @Khyrid Space precluded me from writing everything fully; there are no morally valid uses as far as goes the surveillance intentions.

Yes, technology can help - but that isn't the way it's going is it? It's not about the Stone Age, or living in fear (despite deliberate fear-mongering being a huge NWO tactic), it's about where the emphasis of use REALLY lies, like in this vid.

If it means not having them, I'll take that all day over suffering the abuses that ARE coming with having them.

  • @CodeTwo2 Well dig a bomb shelter.

  • @CodeTwo2: I think I remember something about anything lower that 400' being fair game... I could use the target practice...

  • @Pafoofnik1 Go to it!

  • @CodeTwo2: LOL "PULL!"

  • Where are the Constitutional lawyers while all of this is going down? Doesn't their LYING about something so transparent (and verifiable) as "restricted airspace" suggest the future of this atrocity against the citizenship of this "free" country? I'd rather be blown to bits by terrorists than be 'protected' by 'the Dallas Police' (yes, I know it's Houston, but I make a bigger reference).

  • Real subtle. . .

  • Comment removed

  • How long until they fire missles, or drop smart bombs, into the homes of "suspected" criminals?

  • This is really good journalism.

    It deserves an award!

  • Good reporting.

  • Lies all lies... and the people that work for them are sellouts

  • Comment removed

  • @xTIMBERxWOLFx:

Tell that to the 46 people arrested in Tulia, Texas for drug related offenses. All based on the testimony of a Tulia Sheriff department employee...

    Who was lying.

They were all innocent and had nothing to fear.

  • @xTIMBERxWOLFx But they are stripping us of our rights.

  • @xTIMBERxWOLFx - With all due respect, are you on drugs? In a less-corrupt society, that used to be true - the innocent had nothing to fear. That is no longer the case; and if you don't believe it, just go back to Matlock. Or Mayberry. . .

  • interesting.... it's getting harder to tell America from China with every day that passes

  • Thank you KRPC, Local 2, Stephen Dean, and your station, for your great investigative work, it is nice to know that the power elite and power brokers can't control everybody, including these local media people. Keep on keeping on!

  • remember remember the 5th of November.......

  • @Halfullproductions Oh, I remember the fifth of November!

  • Our tax dollars at work. To fuck us, the tax payer.

  • hahahaa... what if ur taking a shower and letting them seeing u naked

  • Just what we need are the pedophiles getting new toys that allows them a new and powerful lens into your private life in your own back yard!

    These psychos never stop!

  • I'm sure the Military Industrial Complex has been using such [cloaked] drones for years. Remember "They Live" made by Hollywood in 1988? They had similar drones watching the people. If Hollywood's made a movie about it you can bet that the technology already exists or is about to.

  • spying paranoid cops are shit

  • LOL...The spying get spy'd on, PRICELESS!!!

  • hey, chris, do you have the follow-up video to this one? and if so, where is it located at because I would like to see that one as well.

  • fuk all that if i see one of them flyin roun my house its gettn shot down

  • Include violations of our privacy and civil rights. What happened to humanity? This is all so very sick and violating. Now, we are being told that they have mounted sound and microwave cannons ready to aim at Americans, too. Don't be surprised if you are attacked by your very own countrymen. The first hurricane to head north in the Gulf, should release them to use all of these weapons upon us, randomly. Questions: Will we fall at the hands of our own? Can drones feel pain, when you kill them?

  • The cops are the enemy...make no mistake about it.

The time is coming when it will become very apparent to a vast majority of the US population...even though most of the adults in this country are a bunch of

    stupid asses!

Doubt me...please look no further than their behavior in New Orleans after

Katrina hit....they showed their true colors for all to see...cops from all over the country violating their sacred oath to the Constitution!

    Get ready...

  • people wanted government, now they got it. Now they dont like it.

  • Excelling reporting. Its rare to see a reporter give the police heat when they cross the line of privacy.

  • SONS OF FUCKIN BITCHES! HOW LONG BEFORE THEY'RE CALLING US TERRORIST.

  • @562SICKSIDE Heck, they've already had for almost the past decade Since H.R. 3162 (The so-called "Patriot Act") was passed into law on Friday 26 October 2001. Then they expanded that definition in a flyer issued to the maricopa county sheriff's dept. by the FBI calling different folks with different beliefs "terrorists", then, , there was what is called The MIAC report specifically describes supporters of presidential candidates Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, Bob Barr as “militia” influenced ones.

  • 1984

  • Drug search and seizures .. They can look into your homes from the sky..

  • Just another real life scene out of Anyn Rand's novel "Atlas Shrugged"

  • @98firebirdred ,,,They would probably charge you with assault with a dead weapon..

  • A bunch of thieves up to no good.

  • new policy....see a drone.......shoot a drone

  • WTF?????

  • TARGET PRACTICE;-)

  • OOOO, you don't have a front plate? You're a criminal.

  • that's it, ima run for president

  • time for do it yourself shoulder fired missels. or maybe a 50 bmg target

  • News flash! We are already being spied on.

  • wtf? wat if i was jackn off and those fuckers saw me! this is bs man where the fuck can i go now?

  • Wow! One of the best news segments I have ever seen. If this station is telling the truth about them not being allowed to film, then maybe the press isn't as corrupt as I figured. But who knows maybe the Feds wanted those cameras to be there and wanted it to look "secret". Idk what the objective would be if that were true... Just wanted to throw out that idea.

  • I hope people start organizing groups to shoot these unconstitutional spies out of the sky if they fly over their property using high powered rifles!

  • "Enemy UAV spotted!"

  • If one crashed in my yard I would smash it into little bits before I handed it back to the cops LOL :)

  • Problem here in the us is division. We all can see how this is most likely to be abused and regardless of race we pretty much agree. However, instead of banding together, we hate each other for whatever adjective we use or society gives us to describe ourselves and that becomes who we are. If you don't "match" me then I have a problem with you. As long as we are divided, then they will be able to continue this.

  • @christophersmith0341 So true. Well put..

Organized crime in power WANT us fighting among ourselves. Separated, divided. They use their media to enforce this.

While they remain perfectly aligned to pull scam after scam on us all.

A united, AWARE populace awake to the deception, lies & fraud we've been sold, is their biggest fear. "Leftwing" "right-wing" BS doesn't matter. They're all controlled by same masters pulling strings. They don't work for US as in we the people. Never have, never will

  • The police here use toy hellicopters with cameras on them

  • OUR GOVERNMENT IS RUN BY NAZIS.

  • @prussell66 i guess kiss our freedom goodbye,,this shit is absoultly sick

  • @prussell66 Will you morons stop, just please please stop, referring to the Disgusting thing called US gov as Nazis, NOt even remotely close, read a book and learn something.

  • @spacintrvl2 We have an almost seamless relationship between Corporate and State interests now and you want to quibble over the word "Nazi"? Okay, I'll swap it out for the word FASCIST, because that's what this country's become. If you don't believe me, ask anyone in the 3rd World. Oh, and thank you for demonstrating your character to me by impugning my level of education. Have a nice day.

  • Starting at the year 2000 Americans have the right to overthrow this government. 2000 is when they starting fucking up with Bush, and now Obama. They spy on us, and brutally beat us, shoot us, for no reason. The 2nd American Revolution is very soon!

  • Like, you know a UAV.

  • NOT COOL!!
