Roy Hattersley probably is a mongrel, but first and foremost he is old and very doddery, and does not even realise that he speaks for no-one but himself. His comments are not only an insult to indigenous English people whose ancestors arrived in England for many hundreds of years ago, but under the Race Relations Act they constitute Direct Racism towards Ethnic English people. If he called me a mongrel I would most likely be so incensed I'd just hit him.

@bnprenaissance Wow he's generalising much.. many us of us don't have ancestry from "all over the world", if this guy is an actual representative of the EDP I refuse to support them. If he can't actually grasp little facts such as the Normans didn't colonise England (Nobles wouldn't of had children with peasants, for a start), only really Germanic tribes have done which is common knowledge.

Don't forget the Labour Party has its fair share of inarticulate members. One even rose to become Deputy Prime Minister!

The biggest problem the English Democrats have is that the present government have largely brainwashed the English population into equating English nationalism with neo Nazism. New Labour can't accept that you CAN love your country, and want the BEST for its population, without being racist, just sensible.

I'm an English nationalist, but the long-haired gentleman in the baseball cap is quite remarkably inarticulate (even if I concede his banner's point about Brown's Biased Corporation). Also, the terrible R 'n' B song that accompanies it suggests a shallow grasp of specifically English culture.

I want to like you, English Democrats, but you'll have to do better than this to get my loyalty and support!
