  • love your hair here! <3

  • This is a great help. Thank you~ :D

  • Hey! What primer would you recommend for eyeshadow? I was told normal foundation is fine to use but feel like it makes me eyes feel heavier and chunkier.

Also do you recommend any primer for lips?

  • @gabehDUH i use too faced shadow insurance, its amazing!

  • Hey Cora luv tis look! Ps-Are you losing wight?

  • hey i really love ur vids:), but i wanted to kno if u could try a blue-ish look, i keep trying to do a blue look and look for someone who did one, but even time i do, its either tooo dark or tooo light. help? thanks:)

  • Hey, I'm a SUPER beginner (By that I mean that I like... just started really wearing makeup) I only have a few brushes so do you know if I could do this with other brushes? Thanks! I love ur vids! Mwah!

  • i love how you use "rock it in my socket". it's so cute & original. & i've watched other videso when you say a color wants to "join the party" it's great! lol you are just so beautiful & genuine. i truly o enjoy watching you. consider yourself SUBSCRIBED! :D

  • love it!

  • @no1biznatch I very much agree with you, another thing is that with some colors it's hard to tell what the actual color is because of different lighting etc. I like to have a name so I can see it/swatch in person. Regardless, love you Cora!

  • gorgeous!

  • it's really great look, nice done...i will definitelly try to do it ^.^

  • i miss when it was the side bar :(

    great vid, love the eyeshadows!!!

can you do a summer tutorial for eyeshadows please?

  • You're so pretty and I love this tutorial

  • hiii just wondering if you knew.. can you go into mac and ask for a pigment sample?

  • @yankeegirl19 MAC is pretty cool about giving samples, but not as much as Sephora. I think overall it would be rude to just walk in and ask for samples, without making a purchase, unless it's for somehting you want to test out like foundation. I've asked for samples many times but I'm also a frequent buyer, so they know I'm not just asking for a hand-out, ya know? In short- don't abuse it, and it's fine.

  • @yankeegirl19 Yankees? Really? Putting that aside..:P As long as you're purchasing something it's totally okay to ask for a sample:)

  • i LOVE the close up on the eyes so we can actually see what ur doin!! So many gurus are like 10 ft away!! lol ... Cheers.... ('',)

  • i adore your videos. they are always so informative! keep it up :D

  • I love this, it's beautiful and simple but it's still a "look" :) I'll have to check out those Milani glosses

  • so love this look..i did somethin like this not to long ago

... gotta upload it n leave it as a video response :)

  • I don't think it really matters if she mentions the products or not? A lot of "I'm poor and can't afford the makeup you use" comments I see seem kind of irrelevant because the point of makeup tutorials is not to tell you, "GO OUT AND BUY EVERYTHING THAT IS USED IN THE VIDEO!" but to help you with tips on makeup application. Half of the stuff that these gurus use, I don't own. But I use what I have and it comes out almost, if not exactly the same. Just use what you have. Food for thought is all.

  • you have such nice brows!

  • i remember when the sidebar was actually the sidebar!!!

  • ...cora's so beautiful :D

  • I absolutly love this look. It looks so pretty on u. I have a lorac quad with these colors and its my favorite look to wear. Thanks 4 doing this video!

  • OMG;; That's the look, which I did to give some life to my face without all the dramatic colors. And it looks very very good, and gives an elegant and warm tone to the appearance..

Congratss,, u looks different & gorgeous

  • Remember to be vintage or tacky ... Just be yourself!!

    I LOOOOVE CORA ,,, u're so adorable

  • what do you use to hold your hair back?

  • I think that this could be recreated with Wet n' Wild Vanity and Greed pallet (using shades from both), and NYX's Runway Collection pallet. I love this look on you!

  • Love the ending

  • This is so beautiful, this look, want to do it myself...

  • I love this :D Ive been looking for the perfect everyday eye look & you did it ! By te way you are absolutly beautifulll <3

  • Your eyes look amazing with this make up!

  • i love this look.

  • The colors used are similar to the naked palette.. :) thanks for this video!

  • ha! my recent go to look is almost identical!lol, only I use hand written as the darker brown, otherwise, its the same, and I get soooo many compliments on it! Great minds think alike!

  • God ur so FUCKIN pretty..... and I like ur hair like that a little bit longer.

  • what hair dye doyou use? (the pinkish purple color) i cant find a dye like tht anywhere and the pink i just used on my bangs looks like a faded piece of crappp

  • These are some of my favorite colors to wear! Thanks. I love it!

  • you are so gorgeous, you can pull off any look. love this one!

  • love all your videos!!!

  • GORGEEEEOUS :)

  • Very nice look, I'm definitely going to have to try this. That first color you used, freaking gorgeous!

  • I where a look very similar to this to work everyday. It's great because it's glam but still neutral enough for the office, and it goes with almost any outfit.

  • the people you say you get your cloths from lol

  • @tiara424777 OH Just google Fashiontofigure :)

  • What waterproof eyeliner do you use? And are you happy with it? I've got one, but i think there's something better out there.. :)

  • Love your tutorials, love your personality ; ) Keep up the good work hun!!!!!

  • I've been looking for a tutorial like this! This is great! You're so pretty also, love the hair and your perfect eyebrows!!

  • So simple but yet such a beautiful look. It's amazing how much you can do with so little. Thanks for the tutorial Cora! :) xo

  • my prom it's in 2 weeks, and i wish to have a turquoise make-up. can you do a make-up tutorial for this?

app: loveee this look! i think i'm gonna try it tomorow

  • Your so darn cute! Lol

  • i luv ur hair like that with the hot pink u should keep it like that cause u can rock neon colors!

  • Love it! Simple, easy n it's also my go to look:)

  • Cora, you're gorgeous and my makeup hero, girlfriend! I am subbed to a few gurus, but I relate to you more :) have a great sunday!

  • Love It!

  • i think everyone knows what the matte highlight color was.

  • @SunderellaSmiles hahah yeah I use it in almost every video- what can I say? It's my FAVE "magic eraser" highlight :)

  • beautiful! I love you the very most because I'm a person that's drawn to brightly colored eyeshadow looks and you do a TON of those, and then you come out with this awesome neutral that is STUNNING.

you have so much talent and I seriously aspire to be half of what you are.

I would love to see: a video on canceling out redness in your face(even if you don't have naturally red skin, if you could get a model, that'd be amazing), jewelry collection, fashion/clothing/OOTD's maybe?

  • @uselessid90 OH thank you! I think a redness-cancelling video would work! Maybe a great topic for my Ask Cora Series (that needs a new episode anyway)

  • cute

  • I can't hardly watch you in HD - you're freakin' stunning! The lighting in this video, too, is nice and soft. IDK if you changed it up or what. =] Thanks for another amazing tutorial (still keeping an eye out for more fashion-type videos!)

  • @adrenirushxaudri OH bless you! thanks!

  • @vintageortacky The lighting and clarity in your new videos are seriously awesome.

  • What colours could i recreate this with using the Urban Decay naked pallette, if its possible?:)<3

  • @SceptigalGal I'm not really sure since I don't have that palette to compare :)

  • @SceptigalGal pretty sure it wouldnt be too difficult to figure out, prolly the first three colors on the left and darkhorse is my best guess... play around with it.

  • @SceptigalGal try using virgin, sin, naked and the darker bronzy colour in the middle...i can't remember the name of it lol

  • @SceptigalGal It wouldn't be exactly the same but Sin on the lid, Naked in the crease and Buck or Hustle as the dark brown color. Virgin as a highlighter. It won't have that warm peach glow but more of a gold-pinkish glow.

  • @SceptigalGal I was wondering the same and Ive got it just about identical :)

  • You.Are.So.Gorgeous.Cora!<3

  • YOU. ARE. SOOO. CUTE!! i couldn't stop smiling throughout this entire video, and it's going in my favorites now(: love you & thanks so much for this!

  • Beautiful! :D Super Easy To Do<3 Love Your Videos, Cora<3

  • Nice video. Thanks!

  • Awesome look :D

  • Beautiful ! It makes your eyes so sweet, that's lovely !

    Love it !

  • I REALLY like how you don't name the products.

I realize they're helpful to a lot of people but I'm sixteen and I'm poor, so the products you use don't mean a whole lot to me, I just need to see the colors of shadows/liners so I can see if I have anything that compares to it. This is beautiful btw. :)

  • @kinzythefreak thanks hun! There a few times that I do like to shout-out specific, amazing products, but somehting like this I don't feel that it's necessary. Cool that we're on the same page :)

  • that really was kinda a spooky noise at 2:28 lol, gave me goose bumps lol. But yes, gorgeous look. You are awesome girl :)

  • I'm glad you secretly posted the colors you used- because I have them all. Thanks for the gorgeous look!

  • I remember that there was a side bar, but I can't remember what it looked like...

  • This is great! It´s funny I did a look very similar to this 3 days ago, still haven´t edited yet. Can I post it as a video response? Thanks for sharing! take care!!

  • love it! Like the name you ended up choosing too. been following ur tweets , lol x

  • I LOVE how these colors make your blue eyes shine. They almost glow within

    big fan btw.

  • You're awesome! :)

  • haha crazy! this is exactly how I did my makeup today. And I get home from work and see this. its a really good go to look. thanks as always cora! xx

  • MACgasm!!

  • Oh my gosh, you are soo pretty!! I really would like to try this one day, thank you! :)!

  • You look absolutely stunning :D

  • you're so pretty

  • Looks beautiful!

  • Dude Cora im jazzed i got two videos in one day you rock. And might I add Don't listen to the hater they need to go on some teen guru for the drama factor....did i mention that you rock

  • @GypsyRoads74 hahahah, thanks babe! I really want to get in the habit of doing 2-3 videos a week, I've just fallen off the wagon :(

  • love this look! this is totally something I'd wear everyday

  • All my favorite colors :) Nice!

  • @SummerOreosGirl awesome!

  • you're so down to earth and geeky, i love it!

  • @Makeupaddict96 ^_^ Oh Fank U!

  • Why not just call it the info bar? Down bar sounds so awkward to me. I know all the makeup girls on yt say 'down bar', i just think it sounds strange.

  • @albionangel Info bar/box works for me :)

  • Very niceeee Cora :) I love your makeup tutorials ^^ and your eyes are very beautiful by the way :] my dream job is to be a makeup artist in Disneyland, or something of that sort haha x] you're one of my inspirations! ;D so thank you very much :)

  • @hawaii808asian that's an amazing dream job! Rock on!

  • @vintageortacky Thank youuu [: <3

  • I love this look. I think its the best you've done

  • @redstar97219 Oh thanks sweetheart!

  • I look forward to your videos not only because of your personality and skill, but the camera quality!! It's just soo great!

  • omg your blue eyes! wow

  • Wonderful tut! And very nice look :)

  • is there any like lip product that really helps with chapped lips??? cause for me, no matter how much chap stick i use my bottom lips still looks chapped. . . i need a miracle. . .

  • @satou1304 The Satin Lips set from Mary Kay (I know it's hard to find a rep but I think you can buy online) is a miracle in two tubes lol There's a scrubby part and a lip balm part, and it works instantly on the driest, most chapped lips (uh, mine). It's like...$19 for both things, but SO worth it, in my opinion.

  • @satou1304 I flip flop on a few different products, my fave (at the moment) is mac's Lip Conditioner in a jar. Sadly I can't find mine right now, and all my skin is super dry :(

  • i love this look! i do wish you'd mention brands though.. onlyyyy because i can google a swatch and search for a dupe haha

  • @iloveart3 I have everything listed on my blog- I just want to take the pressure off people, especailly teenagers who would think "oh that's all MAC so I can't do that". With looks like this that are easily dupable I try to explain the type/texture/color itself. Don't worry, I'm not making this an all the time thing, just sometimes.

  • @vintageortacky i understand :) i always forget to check your blog!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • yay! i love summer baby! off topic have u ever tried grape-tini and taboo from milani? they are an excellent lip combo! :D

  • @skullgryd No I haven't, what product are they?

  • @vintageortacky both are from Milani cosmetics. Grapetini is one of the Color Perfect lipsticks and Taboo is one of the Crystal Gloss lipglosses. they were fricken made for each other lol

  • Great idea... the mystery eye tutorial :) As I was watching I was thinking of products I had... brilliant!

    It's beautiful on you.

  • @ShesInLosAngeles thanks babe!

  • This is so simple and pretty! I like to see some lower-key more wearable stuff from you every now and then :)

You might be a bit careful with how far you zoom in on your eye. A couple times I almost couldn't see what you were doing because you were nearly off-screen

  • @bombshellblonde544 Thanks! Maybe it's because I'm getting older (oh I'm so old at 25, but you know what I mean) or something but I'm really starting to like "beauty" makeup- it can still be fun! Not to worry, I still love color but I know I have some color-packed videos for the end of the month that have been planned WAY in advance! I agree about the zoom- I'm having such major issues with this new camera! Next time I think I'm going to have maybe most of my face in frame :)

  • if your lips are chapped you should put a little sugar on a toothbrush and brush on your lips it is a quick and easy lip scrub and it really works

  • Oooh, my younger sister's wedding is coming up real soon, and since I know she won't be wearing anything like this, I think I will. Won't match the color of my bridesmaids' dress, but I don't care. Rebel!!

Oh, and if you know anything about John Green of the Vlogbrothers, you could call it a doobaleedoo (the description box), it's actually been catching on I've noticed. ^-^

  • @Nasalea bahhahahaha! Doobaleedoo!!!!

  • holy cow I did a similar makeup look on my friend today for prom O.o weird

  • @XXSinfulBeautyXX Weird!

  • I hate when they don't list the names of products they use! :-x

  • @beautiijunkii shes does. in the down bar. listen.

  • @theprettygurl88 excuse me there is no need to be snarky and rude! I happen to be very fond of Cora and I'm a huge fan of her vids. I happen to not like when gurus go out of their way to hide/ not say the names of the stuff they use. That's my prerogative. FYI I was talking about listing it during the vid as they're applying the makeup. Ur little remark was really unnecessary.

  • @beautiijunkii

Obviously shes not going out of her way to not tell you the products, shed be going out of her way to actually tell you. Dont be lazy and go look at her blog if you cant figure out some gold and brown colors to use on your own.

  • @beautiijunkii well i thought your comment was pretty unnecessary as well. cora loves her subscribers and you love cora, so why would you write a comment that would possibly make her feel as if one of her subscribers wasnt happy with what she put out?

  • Comment removed

  • @theprettygurl88 so sorry to disappoint you in your lazy little world

p.s. if your truly over this, you wont respond

  • @beautiijunkii hm. I can't please everyone one. My honest philosophy is that you don't have to use the same products to get the same/similar result. I did my best to quickly describe each color, and I know that different shadows would work for other skintones/budgets, just as a different placement would work for another eye shape. I totally understand wanting to know exactly what was used, so I listed it on my blog.

  • @vintageortacky i love your looks and your personality!!! you seem so sweet and your purple hair is a plus too :)

  • so beautiful <3

  • @shuqahx3 thank you :)

  • do they have a website?

  • @tiara424777 who?

  • Nvm...i commented without watchn the whole thing

  • @Sn00kyCr00ksWorld it's all good :)

  • Whays the point of using the brown on the lashline when u use black liner over it? Its a waste

  • Ugh, I'm Sooooo Envious Of Your Bone Structure. Your Cheekbones Are Killer. Love The Look, Cora :)

  • I do this look alot! it looks really good with blue eyes, as you can obviously see here lol (:

  • this was such a great idea! i'm going to create this look with my avon palette =) so excited!!!

  • @tmickey05 ROCK ON! I love that you're taking the basics, and the techniques and making ti work for you with what you have! High-five Sistah!

  • @TheMakeupchoice yay! It was a good decision then! Somethings are specific, and therefore worth mentioning, but this is so easy to dupe!

  • besides the lid color the wet n wild vanity palette has all these colors! i will be wearing this look to school monday :)
