There are a lot of things our church does that I do not agree with. Just like with Christ disciples, some of them held prejudice even after the resurrection of Christ. They were still His disciples. The SDA Church does not teach against blood transfusion, transplants, or donations. We believe in saving lives. As a Seventh-day Adventist myself, I find JesusIsEnough777's concerns legitimate and demand an explanation. I was not aware that this is going on within some of our hospitals.

That's a good question. A lot of these SDA clinic do perform abortion, BUT GET THIS... they also do organ transplant or donation, blood transfusion, and so on... AND YET... their SDA church teaches against this.
Loma Linda hospital is one of the hospital that does this.
I was in the US back years ago and I took my friend to this clinic in Portland, so she figured she could arrange an abortion for free because she had no money and said she been treated at this hospital for free in the past because she does not have very much money. The clinic refused to do the abortion and it is or was an Adventist health center. They gave us a glossy brochure stating on the front All Children Are God's Children or miracles...something like that. Man you lack in wisdom!
@homebrewelectronics Happy to hear that particular hospital refused to do an abortion. But many SDA hospitals do unlike Catholic hospitals (disagree with the religion but at least they stand pro-life/anti murder)
which have consistently not performed abortions and have stood up to the government on this issue.
