  • I've stuck my fingers in one of those dp traps and lemme tell you it hurts like a mother. Thats the reason I don't trap. If i got stuck in one of those I would hate to be there for hours anyone would. I am a hunter so don't take me for some tree hugger. I know the value of management and what yall do just don't call traps humane cause if it aint a have a heart its really not. A conibear most of the time is snap and dead, thats humane, I guess I just don't agree with leg holds. To each thier own.

  • Darn auto correct really boogered that post up.

Coon not coin and dirt hole set.

  • @yourgirlbites lol funny

  • Just bought a dozen of Dukes dp coon traps and Caught coin the very first night,so easy b simple to use you'll never set a sure home again for coons after using these traps.

  • Did you use truckload coon bait?

  • @xtraper56 yes

  • @006543121 A person might have stolen your trap.

  • @epicchapnasty well see thats what i thought at frist but there wasent no footprints in the mud and after lookin a little bit better the roots on the tree were chewed up

  • can you make a video of how to bait the trap i got one but idk if im using it right

  • Bought 6 of these traps 3 days ago and already caught two coons! I've had good luck with dry cat food and marshmellows.

  • do you put the marshmellow under the trigger or on top of it?

  • @4986hunterofsouth under the trigger or squish it onto the trigger

  • @pcsoutdoors

sweet bait don't work as the season goes on. I've switched to all fish now and coon are coming hard. Caught half of what I should of in December with sweet bait.

  • what sets off the trap?

  • @4986hunterofsouth the coon has to pull up on the trigger and the trap goes off

  • great job on those coon keep em coming

  • I have a cabin in glennie michigan check out my videos

  • do you like these dp traps or leg hold traps better for coon and which ones works better

  • @pcsoutdoors

how do you "dispatch" your catches

  • @huntfishlive12 usually with a 22 savage between the eyes or behind the ear

  • they go into these more willingly than conibears?

  • @TheOutdoorsman07 yep and they are way easier to set too

  • @pcsoutdoors

  • @pcsoutdoors

who would of thought there were so many raccoons in the country?

I thought they were more in the city because of availability of food

  • How much were you able to get the traps for?

  • @TATEORTOT32 we sell them on our website, the link is in the description of the video. We have them for $144 and you get a free 16 oz of Trent Mastersons Truckload Coon Bait

  • Love the new video keep em coming, I'm going to invest in some of those Duke DP when I can afford them after trapping season this year.

  • what do you use for bait?

  • @TheTrapper56 Lenons musktrat lure, a marshmellow, and truckload coon bait

  • what kind f stakes are you using for these

  • @HuntTrap13 berkshire cable stakes, they work great with the DP

  • @pcsoutdoors can you make a video on how to use the cable stakes, im looking at buying some to lighten the load out in the field, but im not sure how to use them
