Are the various spiritual traditions a viable way to study oneself, so that one becomes more aware and so more free to choose? or does becoming part of a tradition limit both your choice and freedom? Does one need a teacher or is one, the teacher?'

I also liked the Monty Python stuff, I used to watch that the first time round on the TV, I realised that though I was very interested about their nuggets of truths, they still went over my head at that time (was young teenager), though now, I think I understand them as I have only recently jumped on to the service and gratitude route..

Some people should not be helped and learn as to why they're mired in their mess they have created for themselves. Sometimes they learn a profound lesson following down at their own accord. It's good to have people inspired by you, not dependent on your help.

Help doesn't have to be an action that takes effort. Just being kind to a person can be helpful to them. Excellent point.
