Very cool - I'm used to seeing the NY and Boston marathons - so the scenic pictures and the open roads that you showed here was very nice to see. Aside from the health reasons, I can see the attraction.
yeah...when my knees hurt things get very interesting to photograh : P hoping for stronger running this year. training is going well at the moment...dreaming of the Medoc Marathon...but i'll have to see how the year goes before committing to the expense. in the meantime i have discovered the Hash House Harriers.

I couldn't resist the opportunity to hit the road one more time before winter. I have a very dear friend in the host town who put me up, made me dinner etc...It was a good time...in a quietly intense distance running sort of way.
