  • Where do you get those working train crossings at 0:49 ?

  • where did you get teh crossing gate from??

  • This a bad ass layout brother. I've been out of model railroading for a while, and was looking around at some layouts trying to get the feel back and saw yours and I'M BACK ! Very smooth, not a big fan of the unitrak, but thats just me. You did a great job, I would love to see it finished. POST UP.

  • nice model track but one failure is in

just round and round and round

is you mind already clear or XD no no joke but a bit bigger and longer tracks would be very good but so on nice layout

    Mfg

    2Max

  • FEMA trains!!

  • Love your layout! How do you like the Kato Unitrak? Would you recommend it? Is it Nickle-Silver? Thanks!

  • It is Nickel-Silver. It's really nice but I think it depends on what you're going for. I've seen unitrack used on detailed layouts and it looks ok. If you're a good modeler I think you're better off going with regular track/bedding. Can't beat it for it's ease of clicking together though.

  • LOL japan high speed train passing American Amartrack funny.

  • @SaberTanker22 STOP BEING A PROTO JREK. IT HIS LAYOUT. I HATE THESE GUYS WHO LOOK FOR SOMETHING THAT ISNT PROTO. JUST ENJOY THE HOBBY. GOOD WORK PIG

  • u should get the unitram to go in the middle

  • Hey cool thanks I hadn't seen that yet.

  • Kato are the best N scale trains hand down. They are the smotthest trains you'll ever run, and are overall very good!

  • This is great stuff. I'm planning starting an n gauge layout and have been impressed with the kato stuff. How highly would you recomend a starter pack?

  • The starter packs are great. You'll be playing with your trains right away. I like the Kato power supplies. I run 4 of them now.

  • The starter packs are brilliant! I just purchased an M2 set a week ago, and they are so easy to set up.

  • how much does train track cost with out the rail bed like the atlas code 80

  • I don't know. Probably depends where you buy it.

  • im new to n scale but i love kato i have kato everything track train cars supports transformer. but its driving up a hefty bill

  • I like how the shinkansen an amtrak meet :)

  • Cool!

  • Fantastic! I am a fanatic of Kato Unitrack. I like the originality of your video. I really like the Kato structures and the Dennys restaurant you have on your layout. This is totally cool!

  • Looks like an ad for Kato

  • Well the only other company making top quality N-Scale is Athern (Now anyways) So that's what I like to run.

  • @pigeonfarmboy how long have u been doing n scale?

  • At the time I made this video I was only into it for about a month. I'm a crazy bastard.

  • there is something that relaxes the mind when you watch model trains. my grandfather was a model railroader and i spent alot of time working on his layout. its where i learned the skills i use today when i build scale rc cars and trucks. the model railroaders were the original masters of scale. really cool layout you got there.

  • Like your focus and your layout. The hobby is Model Railroading, not just Protypical Model Railroading. I've come to appreciate the hobby for the way one can uniquely mold it ones own desire and outcome.

  • like the passanger trains and the crossing singnal

  • nice, but i prefer the old roadbed and ballast method for track

  • thats mean

  • Whats the difrence with n scale and ho scale O.o cus i was looking in to this hobby and what should i start with ?

  • ho is bigger and n is smaller. N you can make a descent layout with a 5x4 foot styrophome board. With HO you've got to have a spare room or basement to do it in to have a good layout

  • gidday... is styrophome board the best stuff to use? i'm just starting up myself

  • Nice layout and nice train! I loved your crossing signal. How much did you spend on your train collection?

  • Excellent vid....love it!

  • Nice looking layout! Kind of sterile though, you need to add some scenery! Also, the passenger cars look kind of goofey on the tight curves....

  • Brilliant observation, next time read the discription.

  • Shinkansen and Superliners on the same track?

    I like.

Be sure and post a vid of your new layout as soon as you start assembling it again.

  • Awesome Awesome Awesome!!!!!

  • any one know where i can get one of thoes automatic crossong. great vid. unitrack is good stuff

  • are you planning on expanding the layout?

  • I am in the process of moving. In my new house I'll definitely have an expanded layout with terrain.

  • Modelrailroading should be a singular hobby - you make rules for yourself and no apologies required.

  • Haha it's really just an excuse for me to buy all the sweet-ass Kato stuff.

  • ok, u got rc cars, trains, and what else? im thinking of helicopters for u next!

  • great layout. hope it turns out just as good as my first layout did

  • where can i get the automated crossing it makes the railway look absaloutly amazing

  • Nice layout man, I can't wait to see what it looks like when its finished! Awesome video too with great angles. 5 stars!

  • Now I'm actually jealous. I have N scale and it is mostly kato. This is pretty much how I want my dream kato layout to look in the making. Cool video and awesome layout!!!

  • Nice layout!

  • that~s onje of the kool est layouts i have ever seen !!!

  • Where did you get the rail road crossing at 0:43,And do they make that for ho scale?

  • this is a nice layout, can you tell me where i can get the p40 or p42 of amtrak

  • Those are made by Kato. Call The Train Shack in Burbank CA. I'm pretty sure they had one last time I went there.

  • If its not to personal...How much $ did you invest in this GREAT layout?

  • Hmmm not sure. Definitely over $1,000 at this point.

  • Awesoke video man it is going to look soo sweet! and Scale!

  • THAT IS SO COOL!! I wish I had that kind of money. Great job!!!

  • Nice layout! I love the crossing gate.

  • is there any chance u selling that crossing gate?

  • Just got it. Sorry

  • lol coo. whered u get it? is it the kato automatic crossing gates? lucky

  • newhallstation[.]com looks like they have 1 left still.
