Chii was shaped to look like Fai's mother. Ew. Then Fai turned her into a pool cover, then she was destroyed. Did Fai seem to care? No. Tomoyo was destined to be in love with Sakura. No arguments, Amaterasu, Souma, and Tomoyo are ALL lesbians.
Kurogane and Fai do not have to be together romantically but using girls as an excuse doesn't work since CLAMP is infamous for all kinds of pairings Gay, Straight, even genderless couples.

@kittygrlluvsikuto There's loads of evidence for KuroFai, the vampire thing is actually quite minor since I can see Kurogane doing that for a few other people as well. Anyway Fai's already messed up, his being gay wouldn't make any difference. If you don't want him to be gay just don't pay attention to the signs.

I believe we failed to mention the fact that he did it against Fai's will. I talked about this with my closest and best friends and they said "Please just let us die. I can use caps lock if I want. I've said before that I'm a very defensive fan. When someone doesn't listen, nor do they pay attention to things that make it canon in the manga, I get mad. And I'm not alone in the matter. Touya and Yukito are in love, no? We know this one 100% as a fact.
Kurogane and Fai have that same sense about them. The body language. The looks they give each other. Self sacrifice... I just don't understand how people can't see that. It pisses me off. CLAMP parallels them
to Touya and Yukito for a reason. Please. You have to understand where I'm coming from. Look at the way they look at each other! Especially after Celes! The loving look Fai has in his.. Eye. It's blatant!

Kurogane and Fai have a relationship -c-
much like Touya and Yukito do. WHICH IS IN FACT. A canon pairing. CLAMP uses them and parallels Kurogane and Fai to them. In many many ways. In many of CLAMP's works, sacrifice is the greatest show of love.

@KittyKatMage Uh...or they regard each other as brothers. You know, the way soldiers do after surviving a war scenario. Life and Death situations do that to people. Yeah, they're joined at the hip due to the blood thing, and they will go to major lengths for each other, but there's no flat out show of gay love. That's left to the reader to determine. So technically, no answer is canon, and you have multiple answers to enjoy. I like my heroes straight, so, I'll go that route. You enjoy yours. :)

@kittygrlluvsikuto Um okay Chii is a replica of his mother he made when he was a kid, making the relationship incestuous, and Chii gets absorbed into Sakura in celes and turned back into the feather she was made of. Fai didnt seem to care much he was just glad Sakura was alright. And CLAMP themselves said in an interview that they would never pair a character who already had a significant other in another of their series with a new character. Chii has Hideki.

I believe we failed to mention the fact that he did it against Fai's will. I talked about this with my closest and best friends and they said "Please just let us die. If you are a true friend, you'd let us die" Fai was dying and he wanted to die and Kuro was like "Fuck no!" and turned Fai in a vampire against his will. That's love. Not "good friendship"

Um. I'm a KuroFai-fangirl and I see that their relationship is more than a friendship, but I still wouldn't say that they're IN LOVE.
But if you want to believe that then please, do so! I'm just trying to say, that it's not very nice that you use Caps Lock that much just 'cause some people don't want to accept their what-ever-relationship-which-is-not-(yet!)-love-in-my-opinion.

I can use caps lock if I want. I've said before that I'm a very defensive fan. When someone doesn't listen, nor do they pay attention to things that make it canon in the manga, I get mad. And I'm not alone in the matter. Touya and Yukito are in love, no? We know this one 100% as a fact.
Kurogane and Fai have that same sense about them. The body language. The looks they give each other. Self sacrifice... I just don't understand how people can't see that. It pisses me off. CLAMP parallels them

I'm sorry but I still don't see where you're coming from with this. = n= You think they're together. But they aren't in love. To me, that's like you're trying to tell me that Touya and Yukito aren't in love.
If you know CLAMP, you'd know that none of their characters ever come out and say that they love each other. Like I've said a few times now, it's the body language. CLAMP is VERY romantic like that. [/sigh] But, whatever. You don't believe me, screw it.

Well, you really should look into it. Because Kurogane and Fai take after them like nothing else. CLAMP officially came out and canonized them, so no one can deny it. And a lot of the things they do with Kuro and Fai, they did with Touya and Yukito.
Yukito actually did come out and tell Sakura that he was in love with someone. Of course, referring to Touya.
Anyway, yeah. Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but it was nice having an intelligent conversation about it.

Oh, I know the manga and believe me: I've seen all those moments between Kuro and Fai. (And loved them. *----*) Actually I haven't even watched the anime, just the ovas and read the whole manga. So please understand that I do see it. Who could not see, that there's something going on between them? But there's just not proof enough to say that they're IN LOVE - at least in my opinion. But oh happy world with lots of different people with lots of different opinions. 8--)

You could definitely be a KuroFai fan and think they're just friends. I'm a Mohinder/Sylar shipper for Heroes, and they hate each other. It's what you think COULD happen between two people that makes it an interesting pairing. Your example makes no sense because Fai and Syaoran have no romantic chemistry... Kurogane and Fai do, though. Even though I think they're more than just friends, and love the pairing, I can see how some people might not think it's canon.

KuroFai is 100% canon. No matter what anyone wants to say anymore. CLAMP NEVER. N E V E R comes right out and says that two men are in love. They do it in discrete ways. Body language, the way they talk and act around each other. The glances they give each other among other things. CLAMP has openly come out and said that they do in fact, enjoy shounen - ai. Kurogane and Fai have a relationship -c-

@KittyKatMage Uh...or they regard each other as brothers. You know, the way soldiers do after surviving a war scenario. Life and Death situations do that to people. Yeah, they're joined at the hip due to the blood thing, and they will go to major lengths for each other, but there's no flat out show of gay love. That's left to the reader to determine. So technically, no answer is canon, and you have multiple answers to enjoy. I like my heroes straight, so, I'll go that route. You enjoy yours. :)

Also I know a few gay couples that act EXACTLY like they do XDXD I can't help thinking of Kurogane and Fai when I go somewhere with them.

The "purpose" was supposed to show how Fai interacted and with and was influenced by the group (the lyrics at that part are "because of you. Suppose I said you're my saving grace") and so I tried to switch it from Fai to Fai and the Group, but I don't know if I made that clear enough ^^;;;
