US Department of Defense just made it mandatory to have the "day after pill" available to military members at all major stations. Interesting, considering I thought it was unconstitutional for the Gov't to fund abortion? O, WAIT! IT IS!!!
ever since this song hit the charts, i've been listening, watching different "takes" on the lyrics...you did a bang-up job targeting youth...so thank you for that!! as a Mom of now 3 adult children, i know the heartache of choices your children make...having to step out of the picture and let them live their own lives...prayer is my constant companion and God has my back. The Holy Spirit lifts me up, and our bro, Jesus, modeled how to walk. Now we just need to "Pay it Forward"....
I am a Christian. And some Christians do believe they are above the Law. But the truth of the matter is no one is perfect, we are all sinners, the Pope to the our President, blue collar and white collar worker everyone. The only one that was without sin is Jesus Christ. And God loves everyone of us, He gave us His one and only son to die for us so that we may be saved from sin. No matter what you have done or who you are God loves everyone. Please don't be the ones saying Noah! let us in.
America is about democracy.people governing themselves.Christianity is people falling under the doctrine of the church. if we want peace and harmony in this country than we need to look outside the bible to the world that is around us and love and work with it for what it is and could be. Christianity is subversive to the democratic system and democracy is part of what makes this country great. we can speculate about gods all we want but we must act based on reason for the good of ourselves.
Christianity is not about following the church. It is about following Jesus and his teachings. If all followed his teachings, no country would be in a death spiral like so many countries are. Love thyself, and thy neighbour.
"love thyself and thy neighbour" that's a good sentiment. it has nothing to do with following or not following Jesus. following Jesus is about authority. love thy neighbour is a philosophy. the church doesn't teach love thy neighbour or even love thy self. ask homosexuals or woman or African Americans or Muslims or Jews or atheists... no, i think what Christianity teaches is loyalty to the church and hatred of everyone ells. Christianity is a fascist theocracy not a democracy. it's anti American
Please don't make comments about something obviously you know nothing or very little about. Following Jesus is not about authority. It's about following a life that God wants us to follow, and have a relationship with our creator. I would suggest actually spending some time in a church (Alliance is a good place to start) to figure out what it's all about, and then offering an informed opinion.
Amen! People don't want to hear the Word of God because they don't want to heat they are doing wrong. They dont want to get convicted of their sins. EVERYONE sins. Christians aren't sinless, just forgiven. We have to ask forgivness on a daily basis. Theres none, not 1 without sin here on this earth. Christians are to love and not judge others. I agree that some churches do "look down" on others but w/o Gods grace-we could all b in the person we are "judgings" shoes...
Truer words were never spoken. We all struggle, we all fail, and we all are forgiven, if we ask for it. That forgiveness comes from God through Jesus Christ, not the church, not religion.
