Bettye Lavette's version of Reign on Me was fantastic. I did not recognize the song in the intro but when she started singing, she really caught my attention. When she raised her voice to the 'reign on me' part, I was blown away. When they showed Roger, he looked like she had the same awe-inspiring affect on him. I could not tell if he had tears in his eyes as I did. I do not usually watch award shows my wife tunes into, but this show was truly amazing.
