No wonder Dailey left the Mayor's office? There was a census done in the Chicago Tribune about the thousands of white familys that moved out of the city because of the Spanish takeover & Dailey tried to improve Chicago to bring us back & failed. Look out Berwyn!

I'm not racist but it got rediculous..sad to see Chicago die...It was once beautiful & multi-cultural! :(

@milincoln Being honest? It did make Chicago die, Chicago was alway's know as the most multi cultured city in the world. It was cool in the 60s 70s & 80s to go to different neighborhoods like Lawrence & Western was Greek Lincoln Park was German, Logan Square Spanish, Italians had Harlem ave. But yes immigration lost track & Hispanics took over 90% of Chicago, Look in the archives of the Chicago Tribune big article & Mayor was upset w/the census of us moving out of Chicago. Take over!

Your arguement is retarded. You are confusing diversity with segregation. Chicago use to be VERY segregated, but now the big CHA buildings gone people from all backgrounds are being mixed together. So if racist white people dont like black/hispanic people as neighbors, I say GOOD RIDDENCE.

@milincoln Lawrence was never Jewish the jewish neighbors were up by Peterson ave north through Skokie. (back then) I worked at Sandler's on Touhy avenue in the 80s believe me all Jewish. I'm not racist by no means...I just remember a better Chicago back in those days!

Who knows what the future holds, but I think Chicago is a wonderfull city to live in. I dont care what color my neighbor is as long as they arent assholes im fine.

Good ol' Berwyn. I used to live there before moving to (ugh) Los Angeles. I miss the food, Salerno's, Giordanos, Italian beef and sausage sandwiches. No good pizza at all in LA!! Great video.
