Just saw the show last night . Great show. Pretty amazing disappearing tricks - I don't know how he made a couple of tigers and a Harley disappear. Worth every penny!!!
I'm pretty sure that music was either custom made for Rick or was used from the archives of non-copyrighted music files from the World's Greatest Magicians TV show.
Holy ****! I've never seen anybody, this side of Lance Burton, move so fast from one trick to the next. And, yet , make it look so (deceptively) easy. The phase-through handkerchiefs were real nifty. And, the table-top materialization of the first assistant was jaw-dropping! But, the finale' with the cockatoos? Indescribably brilliant! Oh! And, the doves were well-trained, too. ;-)
I quite agree. The only other person I've seen handle trained doves, just that well, was a female performer billed as "Miss Vera" (on the old CIRCUS! TV series from 1971-2). Anybody out there know whatever happened to her?
i saw this show in las vegas its way better now this is how he starts and he ends with his tigers i bought the dvd of his show and got it signed by him hes kinda like the modern david copperfield
If memory serves, "Masters of Illusion" were a series of prime-time variety specials aired by NBC, from Las Vegas. Sometimes, Harry Anderson hosted. Sometimes, Robert Urich (before he was tragically diagnosed with incurable cancer). One of my favorite bits was the interactive mentalism of Max Maven. The results achieved by that guy, via my own TV screen, were downright spooky!
First, thanks for posting this video. I am a huge fan of Rick. He has class, style and charm. The thing he does with the rings is awesome and puzzling.
those poor birds, he's flinging them around at the end like nobody's business!!

Next time I'm in Vegas, his show will be a number one priority. That bird manipulation definitely rivals Burton's.
