  • This is probably the best film music. And 31 thumbs down?? ...

  • This song was used in King Arthur(2004) as well as a couple of other films.

  • i wish they made more LOTR films =(

  • The movies sucked i love the books though star wars is a better series movie wise.

  • The Hobbit is coming out next year if you didn't know!!!!

  • 30 people must be star wars fans and are pissed because LOTR is so much better

  • what an amazing piece of music. i have listened to it over and over and over again. it can take you to a dark place if you let it.

  • this world need a hero, someone like Frodo and Aragorn

  • @budic01

    This world needs a villain.

  • Needs better quality

  • maybe not a news, but still: it is not "Requiem for a Dream", the music is "Lux Aeterna Two Towers". Same composer, different music.

  • This is a great video - well done! Love the music too. :)

  • i know this song from a game.... grrr driving me nuts. Anyone kno what game?

  • @zalkarn obscure

  • Bad quality ...

  • Best Movies Ever!!! The books Pwn Too!

  • i want to see the extended version of lotr

  • hey u guys like 300???? well if so check out my video. it is AWSOME!!!!

  • @skaterheartagram the 300 movie sucks..... they didnt wear just underwear, and they didnt pretend to be superman by tying on bedsheets for capes. they had ARMOR.

  • @zalkarn it was still a good movie I thought

  • Stella:

It's from ROTK, extended. Aragorn tells Sauron that Nasuril (whatever the blade's called) has been reformed, and Sauron says that Arwen will die. so Aragorn get's angry at him.

  • @WolfytheWolf5667 right, thank you

  • I have seen the full version of the lotr trilogy... it was awesome but they have almost cut out 3 hours of movie.. I have dvd pack of all the tree movies (9 hours) Full version was 12 hours

  • I'm jealous, I'd love to see all the deleted scenes.

  • YOU! SHALL NOT!! PASS!!!!!!!!!!

  • who's it by?

  • lotr is the best trilogy of movies ever developed

    unrivaled nothing compete's with them

  • @wulli1988 nothing is as well created or creative as this.

  • Those scenes about mouth of sauron, saruman shootin firebolt and more are cutoff scenes, if you have LOTR DVD orginal then i think you can see all nice cutoff scenes in bonus section of DVD :P

  • my favorite song, favorite movie, together = the best. LOVE THE ENDING!

  • i dont remember the clip where sauroman shoots a fireball at the dudes on horses.

  • Its only on the special extendet edition. Sorry

  • the movies are great, except tht if u watch them first its almost imposible to get into the books, still a great movie and nice song

  • not true. I watched the movie first, and I love the books

  • me too, and I think, I can imagine minas ithil and tirith much better with the movies. Maybe the plotline is not good in the movies, but the appearence of middle earth is - in my opinon - nearly perfect.

sorry for bad english! im german

  • One of the greatest movies of all time paired with one of the greatest compositions...nice.

  • perfect :)

  • what is the song name????

  • its Requiem for a dream

  • Great video, and I love the music!

  • my favorite music!

  • what music genre is the song Requiem of a dream?

  • epic

  • thanks mate

  • Nice, but the 1st part (to 2:16) isn't really suited for LOTR. Also, some of the timing could've been slightly better.

  • <3333333 I love it.

  • awesome!!!!!

  • DUDE!How ironic!I have been looking

for the name of this song ALL DAY. And

I finally found it when I stopped looking!

  • awesome video, with some of the most kick ass

    music of all time!!!

  • what are you talking about? yes it is.

  • r u talking about the song not being from the lotr, or u don't like the movies compared to the books?

  • Who knows but personally I believe that the books were vastly better! The movies could have been so much better than they were.

  • i also think the books were better they had more story which made it work

  • this movie has awesome music

  • great vid and song

the witch king gives me the shivers the way he pulled out his sword which was on fire and the way his helmet like imploded when he died

  • I love this song! Just can't get enough!

  • this would be a really good vid if it were in higher quality.

  • Ur site has Malware. Could you remove it?

  • this is the best music video thanks!!

  • awesome song !

  • best part is 5:08 =D great vid

  • wow!! nice! i just love this song!!!

  • As far as I'm aware requiem for a dream isn't in the movies, no.. but it is on the official trailer for LOTR: The Two Towers. Personally I adore the song and think it fits perfectly.

  • its used on the trailer so what if its not on the movie

it fits the movie and is a good song

  • super viedo

  • my favorite music!

  • This song epitomizes epic.

  • man this song is EPIC.

  • umm is this anywhere in the movies? cause if it is...i completely missed it...

  • umm... this is a music vid right?? plz tell me the namel of the music. ty!

  • Dude, look at the title "Requiem for a Dream"...

  • Here's a riddle for you:

How does one sink lower than making the Elfstone green?

    Making the Elfstone shatter

  • This just makes me think of the hot sky sports news presenter in the UK...

  • i love the song

  • I like the song.

  • the beginning sounds so suspenseful

  • Thats the most epic song ive ever heard. I love that song so much!!

  • amazing vid 6/5

    nice song

  • cool !!!!!

  • Aragorn's scene with the palantír was in the extended version.

  • do someone of you know a classic song that is agressiv like this one ?

  • O Fortuna or Montagues and Capulets.

  • I don't recall ever seeing Aragorn holding the palantier like that, when was that?

  • amazing 5/5

  • very good video....

    the music is really nice...

  • the musik is very good

  • -.- This song isn't called "Requiem For A Dream"... it's called "Lux Aeterna" and it's from Clint Mansell.

  • ive looked it up as requiem for a dream, and it was this song.. so maybe it has two different names

  • It is colloquially called Requiem for a Dream because it is most famous as the soundtrack to that movie, like Eye of the Tiger might be called the Rocky theme etc. It is actually Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell.

  • bad comment.

  • love the music

  • worst comment ever wrote.=.=

  • Incredible videooooo!!!!!its awesomeeee!!!how it perfectly match the song with the movieee

  • Requiem for a dream = best LOTR song ever

and video is excellent to. gj dude

  • Oops i put the light from Gandalf's staff burst the light by accident lol

  • srry just one more comment I love where when the music gets to the intense part at 5:07 starts and at the same time the light from Gandalf's staff burst the light to scare the Nazgul. Keep it up :D

  • lol Dream* srry

  • Requiem of a drem fits Lord Of The Rings perfectly I give ya a 100/5!!!!!!!

  • Simply perfect. I must listen to this at least ten times a day. The music is so powerful and sits with the dramatic scenes from LOTR extremely well.

    Perfection!

    *****

  • Danielle666x: You need to see the Two Towers trailer! The original / offical one.

  • This music(Requiem for a Dream) was played to the original Two Towers trailer! Post the original trailer on YouTube and I will be impressed! ... The battle for helms deep! It has no hint of Return of the King in the video. The proper trailer for the Two Towers was excellent ... I suspect it will be found by the most unlikely hobbit & then hopefully posted on YouTube ;-)

  • yes i remeber that, im gona work day an night to find it, shouldn't be to hard i mean it is lord of the rings

  • The original trailer for the Two Towers is very hard to find, let alone post it! ... I wish you luck on your quest.

    Some clues:

    1. The original was only available on the LOTR site and required Apples: Quicktime - MOV format.

    2. The music was original to a film called 'Requiem for a Dream' before LOTR.

    3. My suspisions are that 'Newline' messed up the copyright to this somewhere ... hence no original trailer?

    Good luck! :-) J

  • Perfect, thank you for sharng

  • omg freakin awesome

  • I'm so grateful that you did this vid out of the extended editions! Great work, great work indeed!

  • This is so GOOD! I honestly can't stop watching it.

  • Fantastic job, keep up the GREAT work!!!

    its great!

    =]

  • <3333

  • i love this video ti so cool

  • This is really great!!!! I liked the song too!! Thank you very much!!!

  • ı love it but it can be better

  • V. nice :). I loved the one from the game but this is just as good. Darn good song.

  • great work, thank you!

  • Loved It! HUGE FAN of LOTR, had to have seen them litaerlly, about 200 to maybe 250 times (seriouisly)...It was awsome, it had everything in the trilogy, the only thing that woul'dve gone cool with it is the part when grong broke down the gates of Gondor, and the trolls, easterlings, wargs and orcs came through, and the part with the great beasts of burden bringing grond up... that would've been cool! BUT STILL AWSOME!!!

  • it' s good :D:D:D

  • Sweet deal! I wasn't watching the beginning (because I love the song and I was working on some other things) but I did catch the ending, and it's really well done, I especially like how the tempo of the scenes goes faster with the tempo of the song. The ending scene on Sam walking in was awesome, we all know how much Sam and Frodo meant to each other, they were like brothers (and nothing more, perverts).

  • Anyone said that this song appeared in the films xD, because it isn't from the movie, it was heard when LOTR movies were on cinema, on the adverts ;)

  • It's in the opening video on the Return of the King video game.

  • yes, maybe ;)

  • LOTR rocks i have seen the TRILOGY between 70-80 times and more are to come all of the films are 10/10 love LOTR TRILOGY

  • My head exploded from the sheer epicness.

  • awesome!!! <3 this was amazing, it gave me chills, and I liked the more minor qualities to it [musically] esp in the beginning (is there more than one version of this song?) and it just fit and built togetehr so well, that by the end it was incredible! good job!

  • hey! thanks! yeah, there's another version of this song, it sounds like techno, but I prefer the original :P

  • oh ok, thanks! good to know <3 I like this version (although I'm curious might go find the other for curiosities sake)

  • nice syncing
