@gingowitch Not the white sugar we consume these days. It is a traditional unrefined whole cane sugar consumed mostly in Asia.

It is a concentrated product of cane juice without separation of the molasses and crystals, and can vary from golden brown to dark brown in color.

Its available in stores. You can get it from there.

One of the best and simplest remedy for any respiratory infections I know of is to burn in a stainless steel bowl few dried little sage branches with leaves or just the leaves(in Canada you can get them in any Greek store) and then blow down the fumes and inhale deeply the smoke.The sage smoke kills all the bacteria and viruses in the throat and lungs.
