Coming out of the closet was difficult for me. My parents took a few years to accept it. I still have relatives trying to match me up with men. Your mother can still have grandkids. My father saw something different in me and physically abused me...thankfully he died when I was 13. My mother gave me a hard time as a teenager because I wasn't the MAN of the family. I'm still traumatized by my childhood. I was afraid of coming out. It iddn't happen until I was well into my 30s. I was afraid of coming out but then I saw when I did that it wasn't a big deal because everyone accepted me for who I was and that wasn't an issue.

Coming out of the closet was difficult for me. My parents took a few years to accept it. I still have relatives trying to match me up with men. But I wanted to say, when my daughter was 5 yrs old she told me "I must be very special to have 2 mommies". Even my 5yr old new there was nothing wrong with gay/lesbian.
