Being a mommy is the greatest most amazing gift EVER! I have two myself and love them more than life. I was wondering if you could make a quick video (or let me know if there is one already) on how you do your eye makeup. I think it looks so pretty especially the top liner how it's smudged or something. Thanks! Congrats on becoming a mommy again!

I don't understand why you give praise and not punishment, in life if we do something wrong we get punished for it. as a mom you prepare your kids for what they will face in the future. I teach my son that doing bad things gets you punished and doing good things gets you praise, because in life that's how it is.
@EmmettsMomma2010 I agree. When you do good things you have good consequences and when you do bad things you have bad consequences. However, at 18 months old, she is just now learning the difference between right and wrong. I don't believe it's right to punish her for something she doesn't know is wrong. She simply won't understand and she'll get confused. So instead of punishing her for something she doesn't know was wrong, I praise her for what she did right. Babies like
@GabeandJesss Don't underestimate their intelligence! They know a lot more than we like to believe they do and they are smart enough to play us. She is at the age to know right from wrong on a very basic ground (obviously her moral compass isn't polished lol) and they do need to be punished, or at least corrected for naughty behavior. I agree, right or wrong they should have a positive reaction.
@GabeandJesss I am a Pre-k teacher for 4 year olds and i promise that positive reinforcement works so much better than nagative reinforcement!!! Do not let anyone tell you different!! you're doing a great job :)

Oh goodness, She is getting SO big ! My daughter is 10 1/2m right now & I can't even imagine how she is going to be at Lilia's age.. kinda scarey! LOL. I'm on a hunt today for comparison when it comes to mile stones; When did Lilia start walking? When did you introduce spoon & fork to her? oh & also, Have you changed out her ear rings from when you got them pierced?

My cousin is two and I taught him when he was six months old to say "Thank You" so my aunt told me he goes "Thank You Mama!" and when I'm visiting he runs up to me and tries to say my name, but because it's so long he shortens "Caroline" to "Car-Car" or "Cece" :D

I just found out my husband and I will be welcoming our first, much anticipated baby in August, and I think had I not watched your vids, I wouldn't feel as prepared as I do now. Because of you I feel passionate about breastfeeding, and I plan to do it exclusively for six months, minimum. Your vids DO make a difference, and I hope you always make them :)

Gerber sucks as far as sizing goes! We have Gerber 0-3 onesies for our baby girl and they are way smaller than our newborn onesies from Baby Gap and Carter's.

awe she's soo cute and grownup! As for pottytraining, Canada/America are the only countries who think kids can't be pottytrained early on. We started at 7 months and my daughter is 90% pottytrained during the day at 11 months. In Poland where my whole family still lives, people start putting babies on the potty when they can sit. Check out Laurie Boucke's book about infant potty training, she's supported by many wellknown pediatricians :)

I really wanna now, in minute like..12:00 .. that you were talking about how you are educating her and all that. All those things you are saying came by yourself or you been reading some book that helped you to think like that??? BECAUSE what you are saying there is very interesting and an excelent way to make them undestand things without being spoiled (sorry if i wrote the worng word xD). I love that kind of filosophy you are giving, very smart :D I will considerate it for the day i have kids.
you say she doesnt really understand when she points to your belly, but you'd be surprised at how smart they really are at that age! she might not understand that pretty soon the babies will be here, but she will probably soon start realizing that things are changing and you might start noticing her acting up a bit more.
with potty training wait till shes a little older and explain it to her. once she wants to do it she will tell you, but make sure you have the little potty and evrything. For me when i was 2 my mom explained it to me and then it was shortly after easter and i asked if i peed in the potty could i hv another chocolate, so she'll tell u wen shes ready and will prob find her own reward. wen the boys come shell prob bcome more independent and will b entertain herself more, temper tantrums will come.

It's really good that you allow her to feed herself with her hand if she wants because quite often when kids are fussy over foods its because they weren't allowed to investigate the textures, etc. :) In terms of potty training, sounds like she is beginning to become aware of her bladder control. Sounds like you know the right thing to do when it comes to it
Can you do a video if you can on your eye makeup i know you did one before but they look different i love your eyes and the liner on the top eyelid...whenever you can i know your SO busy.
I would love to see A Day In the Life: Twins just so we can see and you could share your experience and how it is handling being a mommy to twins you can of course record Lilia too we would love to see it :)
Don't worry about Lilia not having a friend to play with, I remember I was 3 when my sister came to life, and I don't recall being lonely or anything. Lilia is 1 and a half years old, she's one step ahead of many kids her age :)
Haha the Gerber clothes are crazy small! We bought my daughter so many newborn onesies, and they never fit her. The newborn Gerber onesies are basically for preemies lol

My daughter is 2 years old and a few months and she weighs 31 lbs. She also sounds like Lila, always running around, doesn't wanna take naps, always says NO to a question lol but she knows yes. She doesn't choose to say it though. Also she is in 3T, 4T, and some 5T.

@nellyville6502 crabby much kids learn from other kids 2 a degree. kids do what they see regardless of its a parent or peers. when children go2 preschool they pick up things from the other children that you didnt teach them

So cute! Don't worry about her playing by herself, that's actually developmentally normal for her age (it's called solitary play and then they move on to what is called parallel play). Most kids don't start actually playing with other kids until they are 3+. So don't feel bad about it =)

Don't worry about Lilia not having a friend to play with, I remember I was 3 when my sister came to life, and I don't recall being lonely or anything. Lilia is 1 and a half years old, she's one step ahead of many kids her age :)

My daughter is 2 years old and a few months and she weighs 31 lbs. She also sounds like Lila, always running around, doesn't wanna take naps, always says NO to a question lol but she knows yes. She doesn't choose to say it though. Also she is in 3T, 4T, and some 5T.

@nellyville6502 crabby much kids learn from other kids 2 a degree. kids do what they see regardless of its a parent or peers. when children go2 preschool they pick up things from the other children that you didnt teach them

It's really good that lilia is becoming such a beautiful intelligent little lady ! -3 it will be really good if you could do a potty training video (when she's ready) and also it would be interesting to see what sort of meals she eats or healthy things you give her to snack on :) my nephew has been spoilt and now hardly eats unless it's sweets :/ how have you got around this?xx

your daughter is 5 days older then my son and they are so much alike my son talks alot to and i glad he doesnt like the word no unless its telling out dogs no lol shes to cute :) your so blessed only difference really with our toddlers is my son goes to bed at 630-7pm and wakes up 730-8 am lol

So cute! Don't worry about her playing by herself, that's actually developmentally normal for her age (it's called solitary play and then they move on to what is called parallel play). Most kids don't start actually playing with other kids until they are 3+. So don't feel bad about it =)

it is nice to see u smiling jess :) and lilia too i cant believe how much she has grown! i dont get on here much so dont see every vid, but i just watched ur 'update' vid and would like to say, i am sorry how things turned out. sometimes people just arent who they seem to be. ur worth so much more and i have so much respect for u for being so strong and positive for ur children. keep doing u jess, its clear u do just fine without any "man" around - and one day a real one will come along :)
