it doesn't have quit enough knock down power, but you can hit a target at 300yds with open sights, not to bad given the fact most people use a scope if they shoot at anything over 50yds.

@TheCrunchymango If youre gonna go CQB all you need is a standard M-16 with adjustable stock. Yes it is a pussy mag exactly because it only holds 28. The standard 5.56 mag can hold 30-45 depedning on its size and still takes up less room on your tac-vest. Yes i would rather have the AK than that silly little thing because it packs more punch. And lastly yeah i probably could easily hit a barn door quite accurately at 50 yards with a drum fed AK
