@PattoJB Both are L5s. Maybelle is playing a 1928 L5, the 1922 Lloyd Loar-designed version with a 16" lower bout. Her husband bought her this guitar new ($300 in 1928), and she performed with it nearly exclusively for the rest of her life. It is now on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
The L5 was redesigned with a larger 17" lower bout and block inlays in 1934. Helen's is a mid-'50s model that she played for many years.
Man, that is some nice music. Thanks for posting it.
