We went to see this today..it was pretty awesome. Some of the higher up areas feel a little unsafe. Pretty much it was just a badass maze with trap doors and hidden passageways.

@clubcassidy The major supports are in the tree NOT on the ground. If we were to saw through what is touching the ground, you could still go into the house without it falling away. Therefore, it's a treehouse :)

My son who lives in crossville had shown this to me. WOW ! I guess the story is that god told this guy t build it, so he did! There is a really kool chapel room with the house,. you really must go to see to get the real feeling of it!

It's on the owner/builder's property. When I was there it was a LOT smaller, but it was right in front of his house. So it wouldn't be easy for vandals to do their thing. Plus it's out in the boonies, so tons of people don't see it or pass by it all the time. So fret not... it should be safe.

It used to be opened to the public, but some vandals decided to break things and graffiti it. However, the gentleman there was very kind, and if you just look, he didn't mind. It's sort of difficult to find but: NW of town, N of I-40, exit for 298, first right on Cook Rd., left on Beehive Lane.
