I have several of these fan units, they perform much better with a smooth intake tube,as much as 30% more power!

Can you post aircraft weight, motor, batters and amps. Thanks.

Thought also of making a intake, but had to save every gramm in the rear for getting the right center of gravity. Over all weight was about 1.5kg with a 3s LiPo 5000mAh. Motor was a Mega ACn 22/10/3 pulling about 45A at 750 - 800g thrust. The problem was, that the wings had too great air resistance however I modified the profile. As follows, the speed was too slow for using the potencial of the impeller.
